JOHN 1:1-5
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
”John 1:1-5 NKJV

What Jesus taught and did are tied inseparably to who He is. John shows Jesus as fully human and fully God. Although Jesus took upon Himself full humanity and lived as a man, indeed a slave, He never ceased to be the eternal God who always existed, the Creator and Sustainer of all things, and the source of eternal life. (PHILIPPIANS 2:6).
God created all things by His Word, in deed, the whole universe was created by one verse from the mouth of God; “By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.”
Psalms 33:6 NKJV
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
John 1:14 NKJV
In the beginning the Word was God and the Word became flesh. This is the truth about Jesus Christ and the foundation of all truth.
If you cannot or do not believe this basic truth, you will not have enough faith to trust your eternal destiny to Him. That's why John wrote this Gospel, to build faith and confidence in Christ, so that we can believe that He truly was and is the only begotten Son of God, and is in deed, God. Jesus said, ”I and My Father are one.”“
John 10:30 NKJV
When God created, He made something from nothing. No other person or god can do that, it would be impossible, but nothing is impossible with God (MATHEW 19:26; LUKE 1:37), that includes all your impossible situations that you are facing today.
We have no basis for pride because we are created beings.
You only exist because God made you, and you have special gifts only because God gave them to you.
With God we are something valuable and unique; separate from God we are nothing, and whoever tries to live without Him, is abandoning the very purpose for which He or she was created.
Sometimes it feels like life is too complex for God to understand. But the truth is, God created everything, the entire universe, and lived the life of a man, facing the same trials and temptations that we all face; therefore nothing is too complicated or difficult for Him to understand or deal with.
God created you, furthermore He loves you, and His love is bigger than any problem you may face.
He will never abandon His people or leave them orphans (JOHN 14:15-18), “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38-39 NKJV
The light of Christ shines through the darkness of this world and exposes all sin, and nothing can be hidden from God.
"The darkness can never comprehend it" means the darkness of evil never has and never will overcome God's light; it cannot be extinguished.
Jesus Christ is God, the creator of life, and His life brings light to humankind. In His light, we see ourselves as we really are, sinners in need of a Saviour.
By following Jesus, the true light, we can avoid walking blindly and falling into sin that leads to death.
He removes the darkness of sin from our lives and lights up the path ahead of us so we can see how to live; it is written, “Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”
Psalms 119:105 NKJV
If you invite Him in and allow Him, He will direct your steps (PROVERBS 3:5-6).
Again I tell you, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
