ROMANS 8:35-39
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

vChristian believers have always had to face hardships in many ways and forms, such as persecution, illness, imprisonment, and even death at the hands of the devil
.Many, when under such attacks fear that God has abandoned them. However, these verses contain one of the most comforting promises in all Scripture, that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ
.These words were written to a church that was soon to face the most severe persecution. In just a few years, Paul’s hypothetical situations would turn into the most painful reality
.Yet these passages reaffirm God’s profound unconditional love for us
.No matter what our past or present situation, not fallen angels, principalities, nor powers, not height nor depth, nor any other created thing can separate from God’s love
.Indeed, whatever situation you are facing right now, you are more than conquerors through Christ who loves you more than you can begin to understand
.He causes all things to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose for them (ROMANS 8:38)
.Jesus paid it all with His own blood, He paved the way for you to receive the gift of life. He goes before you to prepare the way and goes with you through it all. He will not leave you nor forsake you (DEUTERONOMY 31:8)
.Whatever your situation, however impossible it may seem, all things are possible with God (LUKE 18:27; MATHEW 19:26), and the victory is already yours even over death itself through Christ (1 CORINTHIANS 15:57)
.Again I tell you, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
”Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
Today, be believers are facing increasing persecution
.For the first time in all history, here in the UK, in a supposedly Christian country, we witnessed the prosecution of a believer for his silent prayer
.This kind of persecution is not going away, indeed, persecution will increase
.But we can stand on the promises of God in all things
.That nothing can separate us from God’s love and our eternal future with Him
.“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
”Romans 8:31-32, 34-39 NKJV
My beloved, Jesus gives us peace in every situation, saying, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
”John 16:33 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen
