Al Is Vanity

ECCLESIASTES 12:13-14
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.
”‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬

Solomon, in his conclusion, presents his antidotes for the two main ailments presented in this book-purpose and direction.
Those who are lacking purpose and direction in life should fear God and obey His commands.
Life can seem very unfair at times, but we should remember that God will review every person's life to determine how he or she has responded to Him, and He will bring every deed into judgement; their will always be consequences for our actions both good and evil.
The book of Ecclesiastes cannot be interpreted correctly without reading these final verses.
Whatever mysteries and apparent contradictions of life are, we believers must work toward the single purpose of knowing God and building a relationship with Him. Solomon shows us in Ecclesiastes, that we should enjoy life, but we are not exempt from obeying God's commands. We should search for purpose and meaning in life, but they cannot be found in human endeavours. We should acknowledge the evil, foolishness, and injustice in life, yet maintain a positive attitude with strong faith in God.
All people will have to stand before God and be judged for what they have done or have not done in this life, and we must understand that we will not be able to use the inequities of life as an excuse for failing to live properly. Therefore, we must take responsibility for our own actions.
Furthermore, we need to recognise that human effort apart from God is futile, that we need to put God first in every aspect of our lives, receive everything good as a gift from God, and realise that God will judge every person's life whether good or evil.
My beloved, ”“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.“
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Have you committed your life to God?
He loves each and every one of us, and He is faithful to forgive, but we do have to "repent", that is to be truly sorry for our sins and make every effort and be willing to change and turn from all sinful behaviours.
Are you really willing to change, or are you simply fooling yourself? Action speaks louder than words. My beloved, are you really making every effort to turn from sin?
We all have a choice, it’s Jesus way or our way.
Jesus way will lead us to our Father in heaven and eternal life (JOHN 14:6), but every other way shall lead us to eternal torment.
As we ponder over the things of this world, we can see our eternal future is in sight; it’s alll but over.
The evil of this world is plain to see, and we all have a choice to make. That choice will determine our entire eternal future; it’s the kingdom of light, or the kingdom of darkness. That is to believe or not to believe; that is to walk in the Spirit, or to walk in the flesh (GALATIANS 5:16-26).
My beloved, “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”: While the sun and the light, The moon and the stars, Are not darkened, And the clouds do not return after the rain; In the day when the keepers of the house tremble, And the strong men bow down; When the grinders cease because they are few, And those that look through the windows grow dim; When the doors are shut in the streets, And the sound of grinding is low; When one rises up at the sound of a bird, And all the daughters of music are brought low. Also they are afraid of height, And of terrors in the way; When the almond tree blossoms, The grasshopper is a burden, And desire fails. For man goes to his eternal home, And the mourners go about the streets. Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, Or the golden bowl is broken, Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, Or the wheel broken at the well. Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it. “Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher, “All is vanity.” And moreover, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and sought out and set in order many proverbs. The Preacher sought to find acceptable words; and what was written was upright—words of truth. The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd. And further, my son, be admonished by these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is wearisome to the flesh. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.“
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
