Our God Is Faithful

PSALM 105:1-5
Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works! Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD! Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore! Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth,
”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭105:1-5‬ ‭NKJV‬

The first fifteen verses of this psalm are found in 1 CHRONICLES 16:8-22 and were sung as a part of the celebration of David bringing the Ark of the covenant to Jerusalem.
Psalms 78, 106, and 136 are also hymns recounting Israel’s history.
Singing Scripture, was a wonderful way to remember God’s word and pass it on to others, particularly as back in those days, bibles were not so readily available if at all.
At times it seems that God is far from us, but if you persist in your search for Him, you will find Him. He rewards those who sincerely look for Him (HEBREWS 11:6). Jesus said, ““Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
I encourage you, whatever your situation, God loves you and wants to help you.
God can not lie and He is faithful and true. We believers can stand on His promises, and however distant we may feel from Him, He is always close by, indeed His Spirit lives in us committed believers and will never leave us.
Jesus promised to send us a helper, He said, ““If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:15-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, “He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
When you are feeling broken within; when the weight of the world is upon you, look back at the Scripture and remind yourself of what God has already done in your life and give Him the thanks and praise He deserves, if that is even possible. Non of can meet that mark.
Remind yourself of the millions of little miracles that has held all things together in this world.
The bible records the history of God’s people. By looking back through its pages we discover a loving God who is willing, able, and faithful to save. He is the encouragement we need to help us trust in Him and keep our heads above the water.
When we look back through the Scripture, God’s Word will reveal to us the spiritual source of our troubles and give us the right prayers to break the devil’s hold, the strong holds, the soul ties, and the curses. “And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.”
‭‭Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
God is working non-stop to give you life, and that you may have it abundantly (JOHN 10:10), and to make for you every provision.
Jesus said, ““Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:25-34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
But we all have to choose between our ways, trusting in the flesh and our deceitful hearts (JEREMIAH 17:9), and we all have one, or in God’s ways, by trusting in the Holy Spirit.
While the fruit of the flesh is all kinds of sin that brings about death, the fruit of the Spirit is love and righteousness and brings about life.
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
I tell you the truth, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17:7-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
