The Truth Will Set You Free

JOHN 8:32-36
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Sin enslave’s us; it has a way of controlling us, dominating our thoughts and dictating our actions; each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death
‭‭(James‬ ‭1:14-15‬).”
Only Jesus can free you from this slavery that keeps you from being the person God created you to be.
Free from addiction, sexual immorality and all kinds of sinful behaviours; He frees us from the curse of poverty, poor health, and all kinds of curses that have been passed on from the sins of your ancestors such as generational curses, and word spoken curses, witchcraft, sorcery and spells; but above all, He sets you free to serve Jesus Christ and receive the gift of life everlasting.
He is the the truth that sets us free. He is the the perfect standard of what is right.
He frees us from continued slavery to sin, self-deception, and from the deception of the devil. He is the only way to eternal life with God.
Jesus did not come to give us the freedom to do as we like, but rather, freedom to follow Christ; to turn around in repentance to live right and serve Him.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John‬ ‭14:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬).
Jesus way is the only way to consistent peace, joy and eternal life; He is the way because He is both God and man (PHILIPPIANS 2:6).
By uniting our lives with His and we become united with God.
We are free because not only did He pay Your debt of sin on a cross, but He is the Judge who is soon to decide your eternal future.
As truth, Jesus is the reality of God’s promises, and as the life, He joins His divine life to ours both now and eternally. He is in truth the only way to our Father in heaven.
Jesus said, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (JOHN 8:31-32).
Does your life seem to go round and round to the same old financial issues, relationship issues, lack of peace and joy; or are you caught up in repetitive sin, addictions, or mental health issues?
Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

My beloved, don’t allow the devil to steal your peace and joy, or destroy your relationships, career, and well-being; don’t allow him to destroy your dreams and visions, or future hope of eternal life. Give yourself to Christ today and receive the gift of life; it starts the moment you commit to Him and it shall continue forever.
The truth is, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
