Blessed Is The Man Who Trust In The Lord
PSALM 1:1-3
“Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

Here, the writer highlights the blessings that come from obeying God’s law and rejects those who ridicule and discredit Him.
Our friends, associates, and even family can have a profound influence on us, and can be damaging to our faith and wellbeing.
If we continue to associate with those who mock God and that what He considers to be important, we are very likely to slip back into worldly ways. Furthermore, negativity, as is sin, is contagious, if we allow others to use us as a pin cushion, continually winging and moaning about their lives, they will be a very heavy of weight on us and are likely to drag us down into their hole of negativity.
Don’t allow others to steal your peace. We can love people, pray for them, reach out and help them, but we cannot change them. Only God can do that.
My brethren, know when to cut the tie and walk away.
We believers should always be ready to advise, council, and pray for others, but if they are continually moaning about the same old time and time again, and are not cooperative with prayer and council, walk away until they are ready to change their attitudes.
God’s judgement is not based on our abilities, race, gender, nationality, or success. Rather He judges by their faith in Him and their response to His revealed will. Those who diligently seek to obey God’s law will be blessed. “He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.”

I say it again, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
