ACTS 4:12
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Many react negatively to the suggestion that Jesus is the only way to salvation. But Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 NKJV
This was not something the church agreed on, this was from God Himself. The truth is, there is no other man qualified to take our sin away; only God in human form could do that, for He has all authority over heaven and earth (MATHEW 38:18-20) and He never sinned.
Jesus, “who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God (PHILIPPIANS 2:6),” is the judge, His is the name above all other names (PHILIPPIANS 2:9), and His decision is final. His judgement is above all judgement, and it is He who is soon to return to decide your eternal future.
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.”
Galatians 5:1-6 NKJV
One cannot earn or purchase salvation; our good deeds will not save us, and we cannot keep the whole law, indeed, every one of us has already repeatedly sinned.
“This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.”
I John 1:5-10 NKJV
It is by faith and faith alone that one is saved, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9 NKJV
Jesus said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness (2 CORINTHIANS 12:9).” But my brethren, we cannot knowingly continue in sin, for grace does not over rule justice.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Romans 12:1-2 NKJV
Of course, we are all sinners and are subject to human error and mistakes, but the spilled blood of Jesus covers all our mistakes, yesterdays, todays, and tomorrows; “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”
Romans 8:1 NKJV
It’s God’s way or no way, but it is encouraging to know that when we do our best, God will do the rest.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
