Do Not Be Deceived, Come Out From Among Them

REVELATION 21:2-4
(2 Then I John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

)

The new Jerusalem, the holy city, is the place where we believers should consistently remain focused.
This is the ultimate promise of God; the place where God will live among His people and remove all sorrows. There will be no more death, sorrow, or pain, for those things would have passed away.
This wonderful truth is more than Good News, it is amazingly Wonderful Good News.
No matter what you are going through, it is temporary. God wrote the final chapter with a truly wonderful promise of fulfilment and eternal joy for all who believe in Jesus Christ.
Truly I tell you, Blessed is the man who trust in the Lord,
Whose hope is the Lord (JEREMIAH 17:7).
But are you really saved?
Jesus said, speaking to Nicodemus, “you must be born again.” He also said unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God (JOHN 3:3).
Many people attend church once a week, do good deeds and do all kinds of religious acts, some preach and teach God’s Word, prophecy in Jesus name, and cast out demons, but that does not secure one’s place with Christ. Truly I tell you, you must be born again into the kingdom of God.
Indeed, Jesus said, ““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬-‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Being saved comes from faith, and faith comes from relationship with Christ. If one cannot be bothered to know Christ today, Christ will refuse to know him on the day of judgement.
Relationship comes from quality time spent together and regular conversation, which ultimately leads to commitment and baptism that brings the gift of the Holy Spirit “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬
My beloved, Peter said, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.””
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭38‬-‭39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
But more than baptism in water,as John the Baptist said, “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3‬:‭11‬ NKJV
It is when one is baptised by Jesus with the Holy Spirit and fire that he is saved. “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭20‬-‭22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The only way to the promise is through Jesus Christ, by becoming a part of and serving within His body of people within His ministry. “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
God used the old man’s church for over two thousand years because that’s all He had. But He was preparing for such a time as this, new wine skins to receive the new.
Jesus said, ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
We witness the dismantling of the old man’s church and the new is here, for Jesus time is now.
As in the first miracle, Jesus kept the best until last, but the new wine is here and is being poured out (JOHN 2:1-11).
With new wine comes new powers and new freedoms to do even greater works through Christ in these last days.
Joel told us, ““And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.”
‭‭Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭28‬-‭32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus, speaking in parables, said, “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭36‬-‭39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Still, regardless of the fact that over two thousand churches have closed their doors over the past couple of years, pastors and church leaders are trying to hang on to the old; they think the old is better.
We see more and more prosperity preaching and man pleasing schemes in church as leaders struggle to find funding.
Like worldly businesses they continue to trade with songs of entertainment rather than whole hearted worship by a body of people who are getting little more than a social event. This is a great deception orchestrated by the devil himself.
My beloved, it’s just a matter of time before Jesus overturns their tables and say’s to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Therefore my beloved, don’t be deceived, “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.””
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
