1 PETER 5:6-7
“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

We all want to be recognised for the good that we do. But the truth is, as Peter tells us, God’s recognition is what really counts, and is by far more important than any human praise.
The truth is, while it is good to recognise others achievements, without Christ, no one can do nothing good or lasting (JOHN 15:5).
Therefore, rely on only His power and abilities, and pass on all the praise to God, and give Him all the glory. For it is He, and He alone who deserves it.
The truth is, not only is He very able and willing to bless you, He will exalt you at the right time; nothing passes God unnoticed, good or evil, for all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account (HEBREWS 4:13).
Worry does not help any situation, and carrying your worries, stresses, and daily struggles yourself, shows that you are not fully trusting God.
It takes humility to admit your needs to God, and to accept the help He sends through others in God’s family.
The truth is, worry comes from fear, which is the very opposite of faith, of which without, no one can please God (HEBREWS 11:6).
In regard to the disciples question as to why they failed to cast out demons, Jesus said, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Matthew 17:20 NKJV
We are all called into one body, the body of Christ, to walk together by faith; “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV
Every member falls into at least one of the five categories of Christ ministry, and gifted accordingly to work together in unity out of love.
“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.”
I Corinthians 12:4-14 NKJV
Therefore, walk by the leading of the Holy Spirit in you without wavering out of love for one another. “For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!”
Galatians 5:13-15 NKJV
My beloved, “Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.”
I John 4:17-21 NKJV
Now my beloved, we are all sinners and mess up at times.
Many believe that struggles caused by their own foolishness are not God’s concern and He won’t help in those situations; the devil will most certainly have you believe that lie, because it allows sin to put a barrier between you and God.
Of course there will always be consequences for our actions both good and evil, but God is faithful to forgive a repentant heart.
The truth is, when we humble ourselves before God and confess our mistakes to Him in repentance, He will bear the weight even in those situations, blotting out your sin for His sake (ISAIAH 43:25).
But giving your cares to God takes an action.
Don’t submit to situations and circumstances and allow them to control you, and ultimately separate you from God, but rather, submit to the Lord who has the ability to control all situations and circumstances, and that includes the impossible situation you are facing today.
Therefore, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
I Peter 5:8-11 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
