I Know Your Works, That You Have A Name That You Are Alive, But You Are Dead

The Old Church Is Dead

REVELATIONS 3:1-3
“”And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.

Like the church of Sardis, many church leaders in order to encourage people to attend and give, focus on pleasing the people rather than worshiping our God in truth.
Worship has turned into entertainment and words of false hope replace real hope.
The church leaders preach the prosperity Jesus out of desperation as God removes His funding.
They turn our Sunday worship into a social gatherings and business, rather than a gathering of God's very own people joining together in true worship, prayer, and praise, and many preach with a selfish agendas and come into agreement with the world in such things as same sex marriage simply to be accepted.
They fail to discipline and teach those in sin and uphold the high standards we should expect from the church. Despite the fact that our world governments are supposed to stand upon the shoulders of Jesus Christ (Isaiah 9:6), they stand back from politics, and allow world leaders to do as they like without reproach.
This was “mans” church, put together by such as the Pharisees, and while God used it for the past two thousand years, is now dismantling and replacing it.
Jesus time is now, and the new wine is being poured out into the prepared wine skins (JOHN 2-1-11).
Having started the process of dismantling the old, Jesus is kick staring His ministry, “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
In Christ church, every member has a role to play and falls into at least one of five categories, apostles, prophets, teachers, pastors, and evangelist, and are all gifted accordingly.
Jesus said, “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭36‬-‭39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Surely it is time to accept that Christ saved the best unit last (JOHN 2:10) and the old is depleted.
My beloved, repent and submit to God and hand the reins to Jesus; He is the only head. If it’s not Christ ministry, it shall prophet you nothing.
Jesus said, ““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬-‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, the gifts are not limited to the leadership; the truth is, you are all leaders and subject to the head.
It is the head that instructs the whole body by the same Spirit.
The eye cannot instruct the foot, nor the arm instruct the hand, but every member is subject to the head.
The pastor is not there to control, but like the apostles, prophets, teachers, and evangelist, is subject to the head.
“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. And if they were all one member, where would the body be? But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬-‭31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
This is a wake up call; the time to let go of the old and embrace the new.
My beloved, we are living in the time of exposure and justice, not judgement, there is still a little time before Christ returns to bring final judgement.
Justice is coming to all for both their good and evil deeds. But before justice comes, God is exposing the truth; the corruption in the leadership of this world in both government and the church. His justice will come upon all, not necessarily to destroy, but with the hope it shall bring many to repentance in these last days. Sadly, many will fall.
My beloved, what is your church teaching you? What are you receiving through the media? Are you being deceived into worshipping idols, or anything other than God? These idol's are things that can't see, hear, or walk, they are lifeless as are the church leaders and teachers that teach you these things.
There is but one true God! “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:4-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus way, is a more excellent way; He said, “You must be born again (JOHN 3:7). Their is no other way, for Jesus is the only way to our Father in heaven (John 14:6).
“Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
