PSALM 33:18-22
“Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name. Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.

Is your hope totally in Jesus Christ? If so, why consult the star gazers, the dead, and why do you worship statues, and idols, or those who performs magic, sorcery and witchcraft?
My beloved, salvation comes from God, by His grace. Your astrologers cannot save you; they can't save themselves, and neither can magic or sorcery, (ISAIAH 47:12-14).
The dead cannot save you, and yes Mary deserves respect, she was the woman that was chosen by God to carry Jesus into this world, but she was a maidservant of the Lord (LUKE 1:38), a human being who has now passed. There is no Scripture that suggests she is a high priest in heaven that stands between you and God. She has run her race and crossed the finish line.
Jesus died that His people can come directly into God’s presence by the blood of the Lamb, so why even try to go through others when you can go directly to Him. Furthermore, we can't rely on our own good works or knowledge either. It’s too late for that, for we have already sinned.
Yes, we are saved by grace, but grace doesn’t override justice, and Jesus blood must be applied to our lives through faith for us to receive His grace, if not, Christ had no reason to die for us. But He did, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 NKJV
By faith alone, we must receive the gift of life to be able to live it.
“By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Hebrews 11:4-6 NKJV
Paul, was circumcised at eight days old, he was a pure blooded citizen of Israel, a member of the tribe of Benjamin-a real Hebrew if there ever was one! A member of the Pharisees, who demanded the strictest obedience to the Jewish law, He was so zealous and harshly persecuted the church. And as for righteousness, he obeyed the law without fault. But Paul considered all this as worthless, counting it as rubbish compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus, for God's way of making us right with him depends entirely on faith. (PHILIPPIANS 3:5-9).
“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.””
Revelation 21:8 NKJV
My beloved, all these things will lead you to your eternal death. But there’s Good News; Jesus made a way for you.
Regardless of your faults and failures, past sin or future mistakes. No matter of your age, your place of birth, your sexual orientation, or the colour of your skin, Jesus made a way for you; the only way to our Father in heaven.
He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 NKJV
He is the High Priest who intercedes for us. Their is no other; He is the judge who decides your eternal future, and the One who already took your punishment of sin by dying on a cross. By His spilled blood, He justified your eternal future, and on the third day was risen, defeating death itself forever.
“You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops. Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things. Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel, for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him. If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us. If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.”
II Timothy 2:1-13 NKJV
My beloved, Jesus made a way for you! He died on a cross, but on the third day defeated death when He was raised into life; He is the life, the resurrection life. He is the truth-the only truth we can rely on, the truth that sets us free (JOHN 8:31-32). He is God and cannot lie; He is the only way to our Father in heaven and our eternal future.
“Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:14-16 NKJV
If you haven’t already, give your life to Christ today; make Jesus LORD of your life and receive the gift of life everlasting.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
