We live in a troublesome world, and strife is all around us. But when we fix our thoughts on God and put our trust in Him, we can experience His amazing calm and peace in total turmoil.
When our thoughts remain focused on God and His word, by God’s awesome powerful and comfort we become calm and stable.
With His unchanging love and mighty power we are no longer shaken by the chaos that surrounds us.
Paul tells us, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7).
I encourage you, whatever is going on in your life right now, whatever troubles and strife, no matter what is happening around you in this chaotic world, God is in control. His message for today is, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”
Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
God tells us some 365 times in the Bible, “do not fear.”
Fear is the opposite of faith like hot is the opposite of cold. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
Yet my beloved, with faith as little as a mustard seed, you can move every mountain and nothing will be impossible for you (MATHEW 17:20).
