With Him At My Right Hand, I Will Not Be Shaken

God's Will, Not Mine

PSALM 16:7-8
“I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭16:7-8‬ ‭NKJV‬

It is in our foolish nature that we make our plans and then ask God to bless them. Surely it makes sense that we believers seek God's will first, and use His will as the center of our plans.
By constantly thinking about the Lord and His way of living, we will gain insight that will help us to make the right decisions and live our lives the way God desires.
Communicating with God by regular prayer, worship, and studying of the bible, allows Him to counsel, teach, and give us wisdom.
Furthermore, as we open up to Him, He will communicate with us through dreams, visions, and words of knowledge, and speak to us through our spirit that we hear His voice as a gut feeling, or intuition.
For the Holy Spirit joins our spirit, and “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
David said, "He will not be shaken," he was talking about the unique sense of security felt by believers even when facing the most extreme testings.
But that level of faith and security comes from knowing Christ and being in constant communication with Him.
God does not exempt believers from the day to day trials, challenges, and circumstances of life.
Believers and unbelievers alike experience pain, trouble, and failure at times (MATHEW 5:45).
However, believers, unlike unbelievers, have a true sense of hope, purpose, and a wonderful future, regardless of the troubles they face in this life.
They don’t seek the joy of worldly things, but rather, the joy of the Lord that does not diminish. Therefore, seek not joy of this world, but in Christ, for the joy of the Lord is your strength (NEHEMIAH 8:10).
Those who seek God and His will, can move ahead, confident in knowing what is right in God's eyes, that He is in control, and He will keep them from straying off His chosen path.
But to do that, we must come to understand that this life is not about what we eat, or what we wear, or having a nice home, or car, or being successful in this world.
It is about bringing people to the Lordship of Christ, not in our own wisdom or power, but by the leading and power of the Holy Spirit.
“”Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭25‬-‭34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, our focus shouldn’t be on what we wear or eat, or those things pleasing to our flesh, but rather on His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all, not some, but all will be added to you.
Therefore, “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The things of this world bring temporary gratification, but Gods plans are eternal.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Of course we need worldly things, but our real purpose is in Christ, to serve Him, not to please man, but to please God by walking by faith in the Spirit (GALATIANS 5:16:26).
Therefore, just like “These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
But even though we can truly trust God, we must not allow ourselves to become complacent or deceived in these last days as many shall fall away from the truth.
“Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”
‭‭II Thessalonians‬ ‭2:1-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Many are in expectation of the imminent return of Jesus Christ. But despite the rising of Christ church, , the anti-Christ will be revealed and many will fall away from the faith before the second coming of Christ.
Therefore be mindful and not deceived. Jesus told us Himself, “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:21-24, 26-28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
We cannot be complacent; a watered down Gospel won’t help anyone. We must cooperate and remain in obedience with God.
We must all make time for prayer, for study, and time for the Lord, “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:24-25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, Christ ministry is rising and God is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh (JEOL 2:28-32).
Revival is coming, but we must be ready in truth, for the devil is operating too, and very few are calling for justice or truth in this corrupt world today (ISAIAH 59:4).
“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
‭‭II Thessalonians‬ ‭2:9-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Again I tell you, this is not a good time to be complacent; this is not a good time for a watered down Gospel. It is the truth that sets you free (JOHN 8:32).
“Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.”
‭‭II Thessalonians‬ ‭2:15-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, much of the old man made church has been successfully dismantled by God, indeed over six thousand churches throughout Europe have closed in the last couple of years.
Jesus is now, in these last days, establishing His five fold ministry (EPHESIANS 4:11) pouring out the new wine (JOHN 2:1-11) for such a time as this. He saved the best until last (JOHN 2:10).
But their are some churches that are holding on to the old, being led by pastors and religious leaders who believe the old is better (LUKE 5:39).
My beloved, unless it’s Christ five fold ministry it shall profit you nothing.
Therefore, “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.””
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
