Our Tears Can Be Seeds Of Truth

PSALM 126:5-6
“Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.
”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭126:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬

Life as a Christian can be painful and testing.
As we live our life fighting for Christ, we face much disappointment, persecution, and trouble that can reduce us to tears.
But God’s ability to restore life has no boundaries; forests burn to the ground and then grow back stronger than ever. Broken bones fix and torn flesh heals; and even grief is not a permanent condition.
Living a life centred life is not easy, James said “when”, not “if” troubles come (JAMES 1:2).
Furthermore, he pointed out that our troubles come with purpose, saying, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
But regardless of our tears, we are called to sow seeds and reach out to all people with one goal, to bring them to Lordship of Christ.
That's not to say that there is no joy in serving the living God. But like all things there is bad as well as good, and you cannot have one without the other.
This verse speaks about how we should remember to look ahead of our struggles, and that the tears we shed today will be like seeds that are planted in a field that in time through much toil and suffering, will rise to a great harvest of joy and thankfulness.
Not only does this build our faith in ways we could not imagine, but it slowly over time transforms our hearts to desire more for the kingdom as we realize how wretched we are in our natural nature apart from our relationship with Christ.
I myself feel a bit convicted as there are people who suffer far more than me for the cause of Christ in their daily lives, but we should not compare ourselves to others as we have all been given a specific path to follow as He directs us.
But we should pray for our brothers and sisters in the faith that they will overcome in their daily battles as God has commanded us to do so.
In the end all wrongs will be righted and hope will be restored. And our weeping which may endure for a night shall become joy in the morning.
Our tears can be seeds of truth that will grow into a harvest of joy because God turns bad to good (GENESIS 50:20). He is able to bring good out of tragedy, joy in chaos, and causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purposes for them (ROMANS 8:28).
When you are burdened with the pain of sorrow and sadness, know that your grief will pass, your wounds shall heal to make you stronger in Christ.
We believers must be patient as we wait for God to do His good work, standing strong on His promises with the confidence that His great harvest of joy is coming.
Our God is faithful, to set the captives free.
My beloved, many Christians today are held in bondage, not being able to see truth, totally mislead by the enemy.
But just as freedom was afforded to Gods people back then, new freedoms are coming to His people today as God reveals Himself through the justice that is coming.
This is not judgement, but justice, the consequences of our actions, both good and evil upon this earth.
This justice is a call to God’s people to wake up to lies of this world and turn to God in repentance.
Therefore my beloved, listen to what the Lord has said.
“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.””
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, “When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O Lord, As the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭126‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen
