Carry Each Others Burdens, And In This Way You Will Fulfil The Law Of Christ

One Body, One Spirit, One Lord, One Faith, And One Baptism

GALATIANS 6:1-5
“Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For each one shall bear his own load.
”‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:1-5‬ ‭NKJV‬

We believers are responsible for our own actions, indeed, for our own salvation (PHILIPPIANS 2:12), to live godly lives and to do our part to work hard for Christ; carrying our own cross; being ready to help, assist, and encourage others, to share not only the Good News, but the weight of burden on other members of the body. At the same time, we must remain humble enough to except help when needed, all knowing that “if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
No Christian should ever consider that he or she is above another, or be totally independent from the body and consider that he or she doesn’t need help from others. Nor is he or she excused from helping others.
The body of Christ (the church) is made up of many members, Christ being the head, and each member being led by the same Holy Spirit (1 CORINTHIANS 12:13).
We each are individually gifted to do our part according to God’s will, and can only function well when all the members work together by the leading of the Holy Spirit for the common good (see 1 CORINTHIANS 12:12-31).
Jesus said, “And whoever does not bear His cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭14:27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
When you know you have done your very best, you naturally feel good about yourself.
But, we really should not compare ourselves with others.
People often make comparisons for many reasons, looking for flaws in others to feel better about themselves. Some simply want reassurance that they are doing well.
The important thing to remember is that we are all heading toward the same goal and not one of us can do anything good without Christ. If one thinks otherwise, he is full of pride and deceiving himself.
We believers are all sinners, saved by the grace of God. “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭10:31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, Jesus Christ is the head of His church, and there’s no other.
If it’s not Jesus five fold ministry, you are deceived and it shall profit you nothing.
“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.” (Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.) And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
