There’s no one more annoying than a “know it all”.
He who already has a dogmatic opinion about anything and everything . He has closed his mind to anything new; he hates discipline, and refuses to learn, and gets angry when proven wrong. Furthermore, he cannot stand being told what to do, and considers himself above all, and places himself subject to no authority, and has a controlling spirit.
This is the one Solomon refers to as the fool-He is self opinionated and full of pride.
My brethren, don’t be a fool, but rather be open to the advice of others, especially those who are gifted in the Spirit and know you well. They can give insight and revelation.
But in all things, test and approve-run everything past God in prayer, after all, “The fear of the Lord s the beginning of knowledge“.
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.”
I John 4:1-3 NKJV
If you are convinced that you know it all, then you shall not receive more, for you believe there is no more.
Furthermore, if what knowledge you have is based on lies, then you shall live those lies unto a dark end.
But Jesus is the truth that shall set you free.
“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
John 8:31-36 NKJV
The devil is very good at feeding the world with his lies and deception. He brings them through culture, false religions, old wives tales, and many people are sucked into to believing him.
Those lies are embedded into our subconscious mind and are seen as absolute truths. These are strong holds of the mind.
Only God can remove these strongholds; only Jesus can expose them and tear them down and set one free.
The proud shut their hearts to such truths because they believe they know it all. They reject the truth with anger and remain in bondage to the sin of the world and the demonic entities within.
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed. But reject profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.”
I Timothy 4:1-8 NKJV
My beloved, the humble who walk with their hearts wide open with willingness to change are already on the way to be set free.
“The preparations of the heart belong to man, But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the spirits. Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established. The Lord has made all for Himself, Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom. Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; Though they join forces, none will go unpunished. In mercy and truth Atonement is provided for iniquity; And by the fear of the Lord one departs from evil. When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.”
Proverbs 16:1-7 NKJV
My brothers and sisters in Christ, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
James 1:5-8 NKJV
My brethren, we all need God’s wisdom in this perverse world.
As we walk through the darkness, the light of God is exposing the evil of this world and we are seeing the corruption in world leadership, false religions, fake news, and corrupt leaders who are pushing their evil schemes, sourced by the devil himself.
Jesus told us, ““Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues. You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. “Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.”
Matthew 10:16-22 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
