2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-6
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Like Paul, we are all mere weak humans, but however, we do not need to rely on our own human strength, plans, or methods to win our battles.
God has made available to His people mighty weapons to use as we fight against the devil’s strongholds.
Therefore, we believers must choose whose methods to use, the worlds or God’s.
Paul assures us that God’s mighty weapons; the Holy Spirit, prayer, faith, hope, love and God’s word together with our spiritual gifts (1 CORINTHIANS 12:4-11) are powerful. But if we are to battle effectively, God must be our commander and chief; our every thought must be submitted to the Lord and to His control as we live for Him.
He is ready and willing to fight our battles, but we have to give them to Him in faith.
We need to respond by the leading of the Spirit, and ignore the leading of the flesh that draws us into anger, fear, revenge, and such sinful things of the flesh (GALATIANS 5:16-26).
My brethren, ““The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it (JEREMIAH 17:9).
The heart being part of the flesh cannot be trusted; it’s goal is to please the flesh.
When we are exposed to ideas and opportunities that might lead us into sinful desires, actions, or methods, we must make the choice to turn away from them toward God, otherwise we will allow those unhealthy thoughts to drag us into sin (JAMES 1:14-15).
One captures his or her thoughts and desires when he or she honestly admits them to the Lord and ask Him to redirect their thinking.
The devil attacks are from the spiritual realms, but the effects manifest into the physical; broken marriages, addiction, poverty, sickness, sin, sadness, anxiety, depression, and such things.
If we are to effectively rebuke the devil and his evil schemes, we must take the battle into the spiritual realm-into God’s garden where He will fight for you.
He will take your humanly impossible situation, and make it possible (LUKE 18:37; MATHEW 19:26).
Our God given weapons can break down the proud human arguments against God, and the walls Satan put in place to keep people from finding Him.
God’s weapons open doors of opportunity and soften the hardest of hearts. God’s weapons ““Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons (MATHEW 10:8).
God’s weapons break the chains that hold us in poverty and despair, and bring about peace, joy, and contentment; furthermore, God’s peace surpasses all understanding and shall guard our hearts and minds through Christ (PHILIPPIANS 4:7).
God’s weapons tear down the lies of the enemy and break every strong hold the devil has; God’s weapons bring truth and set the captives free (JOHN 8:31-32).
God’s weapon, bring peace where there’s no peace, joy in the chaos of this dark world, and lead us along the narrow path of salvation.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
