ROMANS 8:5-6
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
”Romans 8:5-6 NKJV

Paul tells us, their are two categories of people; those who are controlled by their sinful nature, and those who follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
The truth is, we would all be in the first category that leads to death, if Jesus hadn’t come and offered us a way out.
“Jesus said , “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 NKJV
Jesus way is the only way to eternal life. It is He who will decide your eternal future, and it is He who paid your debt of sin.
He is the only truth; He said, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.””
John 8:31-32 NKJV
Knowing the truth of Jesus, sets one free to live for Christ and receive the gift of life.
He said, “”He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
John 3:18 NKJV
The truth is, there’s no other like Him, His name is above every other name (PHILIPPIANS 2:9); He can not lie and you can stand solid on His Word and all His promises.
He is the life-the source of all life-He is the One who defeated death and was resurrected into life everlasting; and just as we die to our sinful past with Him, we believers receive the gift of resurrection life, born again in Him simply because we believe on Him.
He is our creator God, the creator of all things and the sustainer of all things. He is our leader, our teacher, our guide, our provider, our protector, our healer, our redeemer, and the cornerstone upon which the whole body of Christ (the church) stands.
All we need do is believe, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.””
Romans 10:9-13 NKJV.
Jesus said, ““If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.”
John 14:15-17 NKJV.
Commit your life to Christ, put your trust in Him and receive the wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit, “who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”
Ephesians 1:14 NKJV.
My beloved, “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”
II Corinthians 1:21-22 NKJV

“But having received the Holy Spirit, one must walk in the Spirit.
It’s not always easy, for the flesh does not easily give up it’s lust’s and a battle begins within.
“For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
Galatians 5:17-26 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
