PSALM 56:3-4
“Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?
”Psalms 56:3-4 NKJV

In this prayer of relief from his tormentors, David said, “What can flesh do to me?
How much harm can mere people do to us?
Yes, they can inflict pain, suffering, and even death, but no one can take from us the peace of God, the gift of eternal life that God offers to everyone (2 PETER 3:9), and the joy in Christ because of what He has done.
In Christ ones future is sealed to the kingdom of God (EPHESIANS 1:13-4; 2 CORINTHIANS 1:22).
As a child of God, regardless of what life throws at us, we must put our trust in Him alone.
“He is the One (unless you put your trust somewhere else) who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you;
Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV
He is the One who takes our troubles and uses them to build and strengthen us (JAMES 1:2-4; He is the One who gives us ultimate wisdom (JAMES 1:5), He is the One who is faithful to provide all our needs and more (MATHEW 6:25-33); He is the One who gives us peace and joy in the chaos of this world (JOHN 14:27), and the joy of the Lord is our strength (NEHEMIAH 8:10).
The truth is, God’s peace surpasses all understanding and guards our hearts and minds through Christ (PHILIPPIANS 4:7). That is true peace of mind, and with it, we are more than millionaires.
But how much harm can we do to ourselves?
The worst that we can do is to reject God and lose our place in His Kingdom.
We all have a long-term choice; it’s God’s Kingdom or eternal death forever. My beloved, forever is a very long time.
Jesus said, “do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
Matthew 10:28 NKJV
Fear God who is in control of this life and the next. And take comfort from the fact that ““we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 NKJV
Truly I tell you again and again, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
The suffering of this life is temporary, but the joy, happiness, and contentment of our eternal future with God will be free from pain and suffering, even death will be no more, for those things have passed away (see REVELATION 21:3-4).
Maybe you have slipped back from God or have never really known Him. He is waiting for you.
Therefore, go in your room, shut the door and call upon His name; He is faithful and true to those who turn toward Him in repentance.
Being saved does not come by good behaviour, good deeds, nor life successes, money, status, religious acts, or abilities of any kind; it’s simply by faith in Christ Jesus.
Being nice, polite, helping the needy, and regularly attending church meetings is good, but these things will not save anyone. We are all sinners and justice will be done.
My beloved, grace cannot override justice, if it could, Jesus would not of had reason to sacrifice Himself.
God will not break His own Laws and remove justice to save anyone , which is why He paid our debt with His own blood.
My beloved, He gave Himself as a sacrifice to all who believe on Him.
But no one can truly believe on Him without knowing Him well, and knowing and trusting anyone comes only from quality time spent together.
Does it not make sense to know the judge who is coming to decide your eternal future?
My beloved, He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
