Blessed Be The Name Of The Lord
PSALM 113:1-9
“Praise the Lord! Praise, O servants of the Lord, Praise the name of the Lord! Blessed be the name of the Lord From this time forth and forevermore! From the rising of the sun to its going down The Lord’s name is to be praised. The Lord is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. Who is like the Lord our God, Who dwells on high, Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in the heavens and in the earth? He raises the poor out of the dust, And lifts the needy out of the ash heap, That He may seat him with princes— With the princes of His people. He grants the barren woman a home, Like a joyful mother of children. Praise the Lord!

This Psalm emphasis the scope of God’s care for people; His great mercy is demonstrated by His concern for the poor and the oppressed.
God, rather than being some far distant deity who set the world in motion and then moved on about His business, continues to be deeply involved in the lives of the people He created.
Indeed, His love for us is so great that He came down from His highest position to save us, having come to this earth in human form, He started the work of building His church, defeating the devil, and then made Himself the ultimate sacrifice by dying on a cross to pay our debt of sin.
Furthermore, after being taken down into the grave, He defeated death once and for all time and on the third day He was risen (1 CORINTHIANS 15:4).
Hi loving kindness did not stop there, for He knew we couldn’t walk in righteousness in our own strength, therefore, when He returned to His Father in heaven He did not abandon us or leave us orphans. He sent us the individual help we need to live Godly lives and sustain our faith in Him. He said, ““If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”

My brethren, God has gone to every extreme to give you an abundant life (JOHN 10:10); it is a free gift to all who believe on Him. “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
John 3:16-17 NKJV
This is the Good News of Jesus Christ; He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the only way to our Father in heaven (JOHN 14:6)-He is the only way to life everlasting.
Our God is an awesome God; He who is the highest, has no equal, no rival, and His name is the name above every other name! He is worthy of all praise!
From the rising of the sun to its going down
The Lord’s name is surely to be praised.
Make time every day to lift up our God to the highest place giving Him every praise with a thankful heart for He alone is worthy of all praise.
