Our knowledge of the Scriptures has a deep affect on our attitude toward our present and future life.
The more we know and understand about who God is, what He stands for, and what He has done in the past, the greater confidence we have about what He will do in the future and His coming plans.
But the truth is, only through relationship can one truly come to know anyone; relationship comes from regular conversation and quality time together.
Only through diligently studying our bible and spending time in prayer, not just speaking, but listening to God’s response, can we come to trust Him and gain true hope for our future and receive the peace of mind that comes from Christ; the peace that surpasses all understanding that shall guard our hearts and minds through Christ (PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7).
In these days of darkness, where the fear has been dominating our minds; fear of financial collapse, world war, poverty and such, fear is having its effect and all hope is being lost.
We all know this world cannot continue as it is; our medical systems are collapsing, services are being cut, businesses are closing, unemployment is rising, and our financial systems are crashing, and the future looks very daunting.
But the truth is, there is but one hope, and His name is Jesus. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 NKJV
Put your trust in Jesus knowing that whatever comes in today’s world or the future, God is in control and the victory is already ours through Christ Jesus who is our strength (1 CORINTHIANS 15:57).
My brethren, regardless of your situation, however great the storm, like Peter, you can walk upon those stormy waters while focused on Christ; and even if the noise of the storm overwhelms you, Jesus is always there within arms reach to take your hand and lead you to safely and calm the storm (MATHEW 14:22-33).
No giant is too big for those in Christ; you just need five smooth stones, the five fold ministry of Christ and the faith to sling God’s Word at your Goliath, and you shall watch the giant fall; furthermore, you shall remove its head (the devil) and shut his mouth forever (1 SAMUEL 17:50-53) and that giant shall not speak another negative word over you again. ”No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.“
Isaiah 54:17 NKJV
Truly I tell you, “”Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
