Many today, like the Laodicean church have become complacent and rich; they feel self-satisfied and don’t have Christ presence among them.
The pleasures of this world, money, status, and material blessings give a false sense of security and produce pride, shutting Christ out of their lives.
But Jesus knocks at the door of our hearts because He wants to save us, He wants fellowship with us that builds our relationship with Him.
He is patient and persistent in trying to get through to us because He loves us; He wants no one to perish but for all to come to Him in repentance (2 PETER 3:9).
But however, He does not false Himself upon anyone; He waits for invitation, and never, never uses false entry like the unclean spirits and demons, whose purpose is to steal, and to kill and to destroy (JOHN 10:10).
He waits patiently for an opening and offers us His Holy Spirit by knocking on the door of our hearts.
He came to give us life, and that we may have it more abundantly (JOHN 10:10).
He gives us choice whether or not to open the door and accept Him into our lives, but our choice will affect our entire eternal future.
We need to understand that the things of this world are temporary and fragile-the joy and security of them is fake and will soon pass away.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and He is the only way to our Father in heaven (JOHN 14:6).
The joy and peace found money and fame is shallow and fake, but the joy and peace in Christ is eternal; He is our only true hope and security; He is the only way to eternal life.
We can put our trust in Christ Jesus because He does not lie or make false promises, and nothing can separate us from from His love (ROMANS 8:38-39).
Much of today’s church has become luke warm.
Much of the worship teams are performing to the congregation rather than worshiping God. So often the pastor, who seems to take upon his shoulders every task, preaching and teaching in the flesh, controlling and managing to best of his own abilities, and is simply trying to make the business work.
In many cases they are attempting to steal the glory by putting themselves on a pedestal with fancy words and doctrines.
But church is far more than a man pleasing projects, a talented band and elaborate equipment, or a beautiful voice. True worship and sound teaching is Spirit led and from our hearts, actions, and the desire to please God, with songs of praise through the whole body.
The truth is, mans old church system doesn’t work and is being dismantled, for Christ is now building His church as He originally planned.
It is a process of the dismantling the old and building the new.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.“
Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV
Sadly, many pastors and ministers are refusing to let go of the old, for they say the old is better (LUKE 5:39). But the fruits they are producing are of the flesh, and are not good (GALATIANS 5:19-21).
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.“
Galatians 5:22-26 NKJV
Jesus time is here, and the new wine is being poured (JOHN 2:1-11). Jesus said, ”No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ”“
Luke 5:36-39 NKJV
I call out to the church, your man pleasing projects are not working, and they will not, because you are trying to hold together that what God is dismantling.
It is time to hand the reins to Jesus, to let go of the old, and embrace the new five fold ministry of Christ.
We cannot operate any longer with one foot in Gods kingdom and the other in the world.
, “”And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’ ””
Revelation 3:14-22 NKJV
In this ever growing darkness that hovers this world, time is running short and we really must get into unity with God.
It is time for each member to know his or her calling and take his or her place within the body and submit to the head, Jesus Christ.
All fall into at least one of the five fold categories of Christ body; apostles, prophets, teachers, pastors, and evangerlist, and each has been gifted accordingly. ”There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.“
I Corinthians 12:4-11 NKJV
My beloved, it’s time to yield and allow the Spirit to move, not that you can stop Him.
He will not allow man’s rules brought about by religious leaders and legal teams to stand in the way of what He is doing.
Jesus Christ is the ultimate authority and power building His church, and nothing can stop it. He said, “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.“
Matthew 16:18 NKJV
The bubble has burst, and the Spirit is moving over us.
“”Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm. Who knows if He will turn and relent, And leave a blessing behind Him— A grain offering and a drink offering For the Lord your God? Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room. Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O Lord, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’ ” Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, And pity His people. The Lord will answer and say to His people, “Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations. “But I will remove far from you the northern army, And will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, With his face toward the eastern sea And his back toward the western sea; His stench will come up, And his foul odor will rise, Because he has done monstrous things.” Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the Lord has done marvelous things! Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength. Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.“
Joel 2:12-32 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
