Dwell In The Secret Place Of The Most High
Psalm 91:1-6
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

Those who dwell in the secret place of the Lord, close to Him-in His shadow living under the Lordship of Christ, have the total protection of the Lord God Almighty.
For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.”

But the truth is, their is but one way to that secret place, and that is through relationship with Christ Jesus. “For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”

All relationships grow from spending time with one another-the more time one spends with Christ, the more one will come to know Him and believe. And since Christ is coming to bring judgement to the world, surely it makes sense to know Him. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

It is not a complicated process to be saved; one cannot purchase salvation, neither one’s good deeds nor money, nor status can save him or her. “But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. My brethren, make time to spend with the Lord, get to know Him more and dwell in His secret place. Study His word and pray often. Jesus said, ““And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.”

My beloved, go into your room, shut the door and privately pray, for their you shall find His secret place.
Whatever struggles you are facing, whatever or whoever is coming against you, whether financial troubles, troubles in one’s relationships, whether it’s one’s health, or even false allegations made against you, you are safe in God’s hands.
Speak this Psalm of David over yourself and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge.

In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.””
