1 CHRONICLES 16:11-16
“Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore! Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth, O seed of Israel His servant, You children of Jacob, His chosen ones! He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth. Remember His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations, The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,

Seek God, Remember His marvellous works....”Remember His covenant forever-at the start of every day, and at the start of every project.
The covenant is a promise that God made with Abraham and His oath to Isaac.
According to the covenant, God would offer protection and land to Abraham and his descendants, but they must follow the path of God. That protection is available to every believer today by faith.
God then commanded Abraham and his future generations to perform the ritual of circumcision (brit milah) as a symbol of the covenant.
But because of what Christ has done, every religious ceremony and requirement is fulfilled by the blood of Jesus and therefore shall profit you nothing.
“For circumcision is indeed profitable if you keep the law; but if you are a breaker of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. Therefore, if an uncircumcised man keeps the righteous requirements of the law, will not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision? And will not the physically uncircumcised, if he fulfills the law, judge you who, even with your written code and circumcision, are a transgressor of the law? For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.”
Romans 2:25-29 NKJV
Salvation cannot be by works or religious ceremonies and sacrifices because we have all sinned, but by faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ that no longer relies on the Law.
“For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.””
Romans 10:5-13 NKJV
But what about the Sabbath?
“Now it happened that He (Jesus) went through the grainfields on the Sabbath; and as they went His disciples began to pluck the heads of grain. And the Pharisees said to Him, “Look, why do they do what is not lawful on the Sabbath?” But He said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and hungry, he and those with him: how he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the showbread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and also gave some to those who were with him?” And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.””
Mark 2:23-28 NKJV
While it is good to take time out for Christ, the Sabbath wasn’t made for God as a command to man, it was made for man, for his benefit, and since Christ is Lord of the Sabbath and the head of His body, just like David Jesus, and the disciples, no laws are broken when healing the sick, eating, drinking, or even working, for the Sabbath was made for man.
Rather than religiously devoting time once a week to God, devote every hour and every day and breath to Christ, “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
I Corinthians 6:20 NKJV
My beloved, many start a new day or even a new project without any consultation with God.
Only when things start to go wrong do they call upon the name of the Lord to bail them out. Surely prevention is better than cure!
Does it not make sense to start each day in prayer? Does it not make sense to seek God and His plan before going ahead with Your own?
Remembering is connected to obedience. Only when one remembers God’s marvellous works will he be able to truly trust. Only when one remembers His covenant will he obey.
My brethren start your day in prayer. Please don’t say, I don’t have time, I’m running late.” If you’re running late, you need God’s help even more.
Jesus told us, ““Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”
Matthew 7:7-12 NKJV
All you need do is ask, cooperate in obedience, and believe, and all things are possible with God (LUKE 18:27; MATHEW 19:26), and that includes your impossible situation that you have found yourself in today.
My brothers and sisters in Christ, “O seed of Israel His servant, You children of Jacob, His chosen ones! He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth. Remember His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations, The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,”
I Chronicles 16:13-16 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
