Solomon in chapter 6, asked God to make provision for the people even though they were in sin. God is merciful and answered them with four conditions for forgiveness.
To humble one’s self before God, confessing all sin, praying to God asking for forgiveness, continually seeking God’s presence, and turning from one’s sinful behaviour toward God. This is more than turning from our physical behaviours, it is cleansing our fantasies, secret desires, and selfish ambitions.
Repentance is more than simply saying sorry; if one is really regretting one’s past, he or she will change his or her behaviour. It means to seek God’s will and direction in life rather than one’s own.
Sin however can be complicated, often driven by addiction and even culture. But God is faithful and makes available to all who commit their lives to Him, the gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, ““If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”

The Holy Spirit will dwell with you and be in you and will never leave you; He is your very present help in time of need. He will will lead you in God’s righteousness teaching you as you go. But however, He will not take away your free will, one’s ability to choose his way-that of the flesh, or God’s way-that of the Spirit.
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”

My brethren, true repentance is a choice to change behaviour; it is a choice to walk in the Lordship of Christ by following the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Today, give your life to Christ, humbly kneel before God, confessing your sins, ask Him for forgiveness, and allow Jesus to be Lord of your life. Seek Him and His righteousness continually, and even in this dark world, all shall be added to you (MATHEW 6:33).
Today, in this ever darkening world, where war is looming over us, the world financial systems are collapsing, our health care systems are breaking, lawlessness is growing, as is inflation and poverty, the Lord is calling us believers out to humble ourselves before God and seek His face and turn from our wicked ways, then He will hear our calls from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land.
But the truth is, we are in the last days and the season of tribulation is upon us (see MATHEW 24:15-28).
Therefore take heed of Jesus words, He said, “”Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
