Good Testimony Encourages And Builds Faith In Others

PSALM 9:1-4
“I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. When my enemies turn back, They shall fall and perish at Your presence. For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging in righteousness.
”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬

In order to get any understanding of God’s majesty, we must compare ourselves to His greatness.
But as we look at Him, His mighty supernatural powers, and His creation, we will naturally feel small and insignificant. But the truth is, this brings us back to reality.
God doesn’t want us to dwell on our smallness; Humility means having proper heart felt respect for God, not self-depreciation.
Jesus values your life so much, that He gave up His life on a cross that you might live. So when the devil comes to remind you of your past to make you feel useless, remind him of his future and send him packing.
My brethren, regardless of what others think of you, it is what God thinks that counts, and the truth is, He values you that much that He died to save you.
Your greatness comes not from your own abilities and achievements, but from Christ who lives in you.
The next time you question your worth, remember that God considers you highly valuable; you have great worth because you was created by God in His own image (GENESIS 1:26-27), and bear the stamp of the creator.
This Psalm of David is a very powerful tool that breaks the chains of the devil and is in the hands of every believer.
David started by praising God for the victory that is coming saying, “When my enemies turn back, They shall fall and perish at Your presence. For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging in righteousness. You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked; You have blotted out their name forever and ever. O enemy, destructions are finished forever! And you have destroyed cities; Even their memory has perished. But the Lord shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭9‬:‭3‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
What we speak and prophecy in line with God’s Word is very powerful and shall come to pass providing one’s heart is right and we believe.
God used His Word to bring about the whole creation, indeed, “By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭33‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Then he acknowledges God’s judgment and authority (v7-8), before prophesying “The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭9‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
That word is for you today and by speaking it over one’s self, not only breaks the devils schemes and curses on your life, but you can pass on the blessing to others simply by your testimony of what God has done in your life.
Testimony builds faith that others begin to know God and stand on His Word in their times of trouble because “those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Therefore, “Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭9‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My brethren, “When He avenges blood, He remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the humble.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭9‬:‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Therefore, speak David’s prayer over yourself, “Have mercy on me, O Lord! Consider my trouble from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death, That I may tell of all Your praise In the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will rejoice in Your salvation. The nations have sunk down in the pit which they made; In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught. The Lord is known by the judgment He executes; The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God. For the needy shall not always be forgotten; The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever. Arise, O Lord, Do not let man prevail; Let the nations be judged in Your sight. Put them in fear, O Lord, That the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭9‬:‭13‬-‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Speaking out this Psalm with a thankful praising heart shall bring breakthrough for many, especially when gathering together in worship.
I believe many can and will experience their long awaited breakthrough simply by speaking this powerful psalm over themselves.
My beloved, to those who are still waiting, breakthrough is coming, and the Goliath in your life is about to fall. All you need is five smooth stones (1 SAMUEL 17:50-53), the five fold ministry of Christ (EPHESIANS 4:11), and God shall crush the enemy under your feet (ROMANS 16:20).
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
