PSALM 34:1-4
“ I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.

This is a Psalm of David and is referring to the time he pretended to be insane in order that he could escape from King Achish (1 SAMUEL 21:10-15), and is of great encouragement to us believers today.
The truth is, God loves His people, and pays attention to those who call upon Him for help.
It doesn’t matter how one got into a situation, even if it was through sin, He will make a way for all who come to Him in repentance.
Yes, it may be painful, their are always consequences for our actions, good and evil. But whether He offers a way of escape from trouble, or sends help to overcome, He is faithful to help and strengthen us all the way.
He makes what is humanly impossible, possible (LUKE 18:27; MATHEW 19:26).
His help is not always how we would like at the time and not always how we expect. But His way is long-term, and gives a permanent resolve in all things.
Unlike us humans, He sees the whole picture, not the part, and if we allow Him, though it may be a painful process, He will lead us in righteousness to the overall victory (1 CORINTHIANS 15:57).
My beloved, He causes all things to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose for Him (ROMANS 8:28).
Therefore brethren, recite David’s Psalm, for our God is worthy of all praise; let this Psalm be food for thought for you and your loved ones, that you taste and see how the Lord is good.
Let that taste sink in and remind you of all the Lord has done for you; call out to the Lord and allow that Psalm to remind you that God will deliver you from all your troubles and afflictions.
Seek God’s peace and pursue it, for it surpasses all understanding and shall guard your hearts and minds through Christ (PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7).
Recite David’s Psalm and allow it to remind you of how the Lord is good and faithful to protect and save His people; that even when walking through the valley of the shadow of death they shall fear no evil (PSALM 23:1-6).
Allow David’s Psalm to remind you that God is greater than all your troubles put together and He will make a way for you.
Let that Psalm remind you that He is greater than any sickness or addiction; and by His stripes you are healed (ISAIAH 53:3-5).
And allow that Psalm remind you that your name is written in the book of life, and that in God’s day of judgment neither you nor your children shall be condemned (ACTS 2: 38:39).
“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.”
Psalms 34:1-22 NKJV
My beloved, the church is the bride of Christ, and Jesus the groom.
He is the example for all men to follow, for He loved His bride so much that He gave Himself for her on a cross that she might live. “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
John 15:13 NKJV
Husbands fail their wives and wives their husbands. And the church falls short of her husband, but not Christ of His church.
He never fails and is always on time.
Therefore, you the bride, submit to your husband and withhold nothing from Him.
Just as there’s no place for a rebellious wife, there’s no place for a rebellious church for Christ is the head and the people His body. “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV
Just as our human bodies need every part to remain in unity to function properly, so must the body of Christ.
“For in fact the body is not one member but many. But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.”
I Corinthians 12:14, 20-26 NKJV
My beloved, God’s instructions are not always easy, but necessary to bring about peace and contentment in our daily lives and within the body.
“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged. Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.”
Colossians 3:12-25 NKJV
Therefore my beloved, in all things, sought the Lord and He shall answer you and deliver you from all your fears.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
