EPHESIANS 6:10-12
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
”Ephesians 6:10-12 NKJV

In our Christian life we will come into battle with the devil’s army. They are not of the physical realms, but of the spiritual realms. They are not of flesh and blood and are therefore invisible in this physical world.
These are principalities, evil spirits, and demons of the unseen world. There goal is to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (JOHN 10:10), and should you allow them in, they will make your soul, your very mind, will, and emotions their playground.
Your body to them is a dwelling place in this physical world, and should you leave just a crack in the door with the smallest of sin, they will be in and shall dominate your mind with sinful desires, selfish ambitions, torment, fear, hatred, false teachings, false prophecy, manipulations, and more, even using you to destroy others with gossip and all kinds of hateful acts.
They may cause you to become sick, depressed, and even suicidal, or even change one’s sexual orientation. These spiritual beings are not fantasies, they are very much real and they are like people who break in to someone else’s property and squat; they will not take care of it-they will use it for their own evil means and then destroy it.
Sin separates us from God and opens the door to demons.
The devil does not hold unbelievers in bondage, for they are in agreement with the devil already.
It is God’s people that are held in captivity, that is why Jesus instructed His people to pray, “deliver us from the evil one (MATHEW 6:13). Who is us? God’s people! Who is the evil one? The devil.
These evil spirits are responsible for many cancers, diebetes, heart decease, and many other illnesses, both physical and mental.
They can cause failures in education, work, marriage, and in just about every aspect of life. And the truth is, much of the whole world population is held in bondage to these devils and are being manipulated and controlled by these evil beings.
Sadly, many are born demonised and cursed through the sins of their descendants.
These devils, like squatters will not leave until they are expelled, the curses won’t go until they are broken, unhealthy soul ties won’t magically disappear until they are cut, and the strong holds of lies and deception in our minds won’t just go until they are torn down.
But their is good news, these evil spirits and demons are subject to God’s Spirit filled believers in Jesus name (LUKE 10:17).
You do not have to tolerate them; you have authority over them and they can be cast out.
Are you hearing voices from within? Do find yourself involving in sinful actions that you do not wish to do, like pornography, sexual immorality, addiction, or have suicidal thoughts? Does your life seem to go round and round in the same old failures and disappointment? Does it feel like you are cursed, like something strange is happening to you? If so, it is very likely you are demonised and in need of deliverance.
Sadly, many churches do not operate in deliverance; they preach a watered down or fake gospel; the truth is, many church leaders are demonised themselves.
The devil will not cast himself out, but he will have you bowing to him by bringing idles into the church, along with unnecessary religious acts, idolatry and false worship, false doctrines, and highly paid fake ministers.
This is why we don’t see the signs and wonders in much of the church today; many ministers rather than by the Holy Spirit, lead their congregations in their own strength, or at worst, by the leading of unclean spirits that are impersonating the Holy Spirit.
These leaders can be identified by their fruits; they usually despise Prophecy and refuse to allow the five fold ministry to develop in their church by despising prophecies and shutting down all who don’t agree with their plans and projects.
They often preach a prosperity gospel that gives false hope of material blessings here on earth; like running businesses they set up entertainments rather than worship, and preach to please people rather than God.
But change is coming; the fake church has been exposed and many have closed.
God is systematically dismantling the old and the new is here, rising up in the nations, some Home Church and some surviving churches shall become apostolic centres, operating within the five fold ministry of God.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV
My beloved, the old church put together by the likes of the Pharisees, is all but closed.
God used them for the last two thousand years, but now the old wine is depleted, and the new is here (JOHN 2:1-11).
“Then He spoke a parable to them: “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ””
Luke 5:36-39 NKJV
Still many rebel against the new, for they believe that the old is better.
But I am here to tell you, that Jesus saved the best until last, and with the new wine, comes new powers and freedoms in Christ.
Jesus said, ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
John 14:12-14 NKJV
But to receive and walk in the new powers, we must let go of the old and receive and embrace the new.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Romans 12:1-21 NKJV
My beloved, we can only walk in love and freedom when we are free ourselves.
“Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”? But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
James 4:1-10 NKJV
We cannot continue to walk with one foot in the world. We must take up the whole armor of God.
Therefore, Stand having girded your waist with truth (v14), Jesus truth, not the so called truth of the world that come from the pits of hell, and shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace (15). Take in knowledge of God's word and ask Him for understanding, preparing yourselves for your battles staying in peace through to the finish, and taking the shield of faith which with you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. In other words, believe and stand on the promises of God. And taking the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. Taking your battles into God's garden through prayer, for the source of your battles is not in the physical realms, but the spiritual. And finally, be watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints (v18).
Persevere my beloved, you are living in a war zone and the battles will continue until Christ returns.
Therefore look out for your brothers and sisters in Christ and fight for one another with prayer and fasting and edification. All knowing that the word of God is you sword, two edged, living and powerful, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (HEBREWS 4:12).
Though it is easy to look at others and see their faults and failures, but the time has come to look at ourselves and take responsibility for our actions.
Are you struggling with repetitive sin, or voices from within. Are you battling with addiction, anxiety, depression, anger, rage or filled with inappropriate thoughts, if so, you may need deliverance.
Therefore, ask God in prayer and you shall be delivered (JEOL 2:32).
He will make a way for you.
While it is possible to deliver one’s self, it isn’t easy, therefore find a deliverance ministry and ask for help. Jesus said, ““Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
Matthew 7:7-8 NKJV
He is faithful to direct you to the right place or people who He can operate through to set you free.
“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
John 8:36 NKJV
My brethren, prevention is always better than cure, though most people are born demonised.
Paul gives us great advice on how to once delivered and free, to remain free, saying, “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”
Ephesians 6:13-20 NKJV
