PSALM 25:14-17
“The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net. Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my heart have enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses!

V
Troubled by his enemies, in this psalm, David lifts his soul to God.Very aware of his sinful nature, he asked for forgiveness (v18).
We are all in the same boat, and like David, we ought to come to God daily in repentance, asking for forgiveness of sin. Not necessarily because we wilfully fell into sin, but just as a precaution that we may of unknowingly sinned.
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.“
I John 1:8-10 NKJV
The Lord is a friend to all those who “fear him"; to those who believe.
He offers intimate and lasting friendship to all who revere Him, who hold Him in the highest honour (JOHN 15:15).
No other relationship can ever compare with having the Lord of all creation as a friend.
Your friendship with Him will continue to grow as you respect and honour Him and know Him more.
It often feels like life's problems go from bad to worse; like our lives are in a downward spiral. Only God can reverse this downward spiral, take our problems and then turn them into glorious victories.
Only God can take our impossible situations, and use them to benefit us and teach and strengthen us.
Like David, we must take the first and most important step, which is to cry out to the Lord, saying “Turn to me and have mercy." When we are humbly willing to do that, God will do His work in us and our situations.
The truth is, nothing is too big, too great, too difficult or impossible for God; nothing is impossible with Him (LUKE 1:37; MATHEW 19:26), and He is faithful to keep all His promises.
My beloved, the secret of eternal joy, peace, and contentment is in God’s Word.
“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:8-9 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
