HEBREWS 4:13-16
“And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Jesus is the High Priest, their is no other who can bring us safely to our Father in heaven (JOHN 14:6). For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,”
I Timothy 2:5-6 NKJV
Jesus came to this earth to save His people from the wages of sin, eternal death (JOHN 10:10).
“Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.”
Philippians 2:6-8 NLT
Jesus faced the same temptations and struggles that we all face today, but unlike us, He did not cave into sin like we all have (1 JOHN 1:10).
Jesus our creator, experienced the most severe persecution, trials and challenges, as a human being, not using His divine privileges as something to cling to; therefore has full understanding of how difficult and challenging life can be. The truth is, no one else could be a better source of help in time of need, and their is no other man, god, or object that is qualified to take away our sin, for He is God in human form, and it is He who was the Lamb that was slain.
He is the way, the truth, and the life; Jesus is the only way to our Father in heaven (JOHN 14:6).
We cannot hide anything from God though at times we try. But our sin separates us from Him; yet He sees everything and He knows our very thoughts.
We cannot hide from Him, He is always near, ready to forgive and help a repentant heart. The truth is, nothing can separate us from the love of God (ROMANS 8:38-39).
In Old Testament times, to the Jews, the High Priest was the highest religious authority in the land. He would enter the Most Holy place-the Holy of Holy’s once a year to make atonement for the sins of the whole nation (LEVITICUS 16).
But today, Jesus is “the High Priest” and mediates between us and God. He mediate for us after paying our debt of sin, washing our sins away.
Therefore, every one of His people can come into God’s presence, into the Holof hollies, not just once a year, but at any time.
Prayer is our approach to God, and as the Scripture says, we are to come boldly to Him; “to the throne of grace” to obtain His mercy and help in our time of need.
You need not approach God nervously afraid to ask Him for the help you need. Yet you shouldn’t approach Him flippantly, without proper thought of what to say. You must come to Him with reverence because He is your King, but also with total assurance because He is your friend (JOHN 15:15).
Eternal life is a gift of God to all who believe on Him. Salvation is not a complicated process and is available to all regardless of their past sin, skin colour, race, or abilities, and cannot be stolen by one’s future mistakes (ROMANS 8:1).
“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.””
Romans 10:8-13 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
