ISAIAH 40:3-5
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the LORD; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth; The glory of the LORD shall be revealed, And all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.””

Today, the whole world is in turmoil and we are being seriously shaken.
Many ask, is God punishing us? In answer to that question, Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 NKJV
Jesus did not come in to the world to destroy us, but rather to save us. He does not want to punish anyone, though He disciplines those He loves (HEBREWS 12:5-6).
The truth is He wants to save us all, that’s why He took our place on a cross (2 PETER 3:9).
But the day is fast approaching when He will return to judge the world, His wrath shall be poured out and “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians 2:10-11 NKJV
God is allowing the evil things to happen in this world to expose it and wake the people up to the truth. His plan is to save the world (JOHN 3:16).
Corrupt governments, organisations, and people are being exposed, for the light shines through the darkness and exposes all, and the darkness cannot comprehend it (JOHN 1:5).
Many will look up and seek God when all their efforts have expired; when they can see no way and are desperate.
Many have been saying, where is your God? But the truth is, “The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.”
2 Peter 3:9 NLT
Making straight a highway for the Lord, is removing all obstacles out of the way-obstacles that hinder our relationship with God-money, status, material things, and such things that we people have put in place and depend on rather than God.
He is preparing the ground for revival as a last call to His people before His imminent return.
The glory of the Lord will be revealed by the troubles that have come upon us, and all flesh shall see it together.
Isaiah told the people to prepare to see God’s work, John the Baptist used these words as he challenged the people to prepare for the coming Messiah (MATHEW 3:3).
None of us are immune to trials and suffering, but our faith need not be hindered by them. God is working, as is the devil, so life is uncomfortable, but the glory of the Lord will be seen like no other time in history.
Revival is here, ““And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.”

My beloved, this is where we are today.
Over the years we have experienced man’s ways to deal with all the issues of life; lawlessness, corruption, addictions, cancers, disabilities, world finances, education and so much more, and has failed miserably.
Lawlessness is out of control, sexual immorality is like the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, mental health is at an all time high as is addictions, drunkenness, and our children are being shaped into man’s disgusting ways through our shameful education systems.
Man cannot run this earth smoothly in his own strength and has failed miserably from the very beginning when Aam and Eve committed the first sin. “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.”
Romans 5:12-15 NKJV
Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”

I encourage you, whatever your troubles, your trials or challenges, God is making a way for you. Your impossible situation is possible with God (LUKE 18:27; MATHEW 19:26).
But one needs to choose, “mans way or Jesus way!
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 NKJV
Give your life to Christ today, for His way works through the temporary into all eternity.
His way is the only way.
