Every Good & Perfect Gift Is From Above
Do Not Be Deceived
JAMES 1:16-18
“Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

Light is often seen as good in the bible, and darkness as evil. God is pictured as light (good) in many places throughout the bible (PSALM 27:1; ISAIAH 60:19-22; JOHN 1:1-14).
Jesus is the light that shines through the darkness and exposes darkness, and the darkness cannot comprehend it (JOHN 1:1-5).
God is a good, good Father; He is a continuous provider, He never lies or breaks promises. He is a Father that takes responsibility for His children.
Indeed, He took our place on the cross, paying the penalty of the sin of the world even though He never sinned, that we might live (JOHN 3:16-17; 1 PETER 3:18; ROMANS 5:8; 1 THESSALONIANS 5:8-10).
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends (JOHN 15:13).
I encourage you; whatever situation you are facing right now, even if it is as the result of your foolishness or sinful behaviour, God loves you; He sees you like His first fruits. He is faithful to forgive those who come to Him with a repentant heart, and He wants to make a way for you.
However humanly impossible your situation, with God it becomes possible (LUKE 18:27; MATHEW 19:26).
He shall go before you to make a way, indeed, He already has, and He will be with you through it all (DEUTERONOMY 31:8).
He may not do things how you hoped, but He will do what is good for your long-term best.
Unlike us humans who see just part of the picture, God sees the whole picture. However bad a situation seems, God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them (ROMANS 8:28).
God wants you to be dependent upon Him, that He can send down from above every good gift, but He doesn’t take away one’s free will; it’s your way or God’s way.
But I am here to tell you, God’s way works.
Therefore, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7).”
My beloved, in this world today theirs much corruption in world leadership, including within the pharmaceutical industry, the healthcare, the judiciary systems, the church, and the media. Furthermore, there are false prophets and teachers spreading lies into the nations.
The corrupt people of these organisations, along with the false prophets and teachers themselves are deceived.
They all need Jesus, for He is the truth (JOHN 14:6), and it is the truth that sets us free (JOHN 8:32).
Many people shall perish as a lack of knowledge (HOSEA 4:6).
Furthermore, those assembling in fake ministries, will perish with their leaders.
The devil himself has all these organisations in his pocket.
Assembly may feel good, the worship may give you shivers, and you may even see or experience miracles, for the devil can perform all these things, but if it’s not Christ five fold ministry, it shall profit you nothing.
Jesus said, ““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.””

Therefore, “Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.”
