As parents we imperfect humans generally do our best for our children. However, even good fathers who treat their children very well make mistakes.
The truth is, we humans are all sinners (evil) and only by God’s grace can we receive the gift of life.
But our heavenly Father does not make mistakes. He knows all our needs and never fails us. But the most important gift He can ever give us is His Holy Spirit (ACTS 2:1-4), whom He promised to give all believers after His death, resurrection, and His return to the Father in heaven (JOHN 15:26).
He is the Spirit of truth, our helper who has come from our Father in heaven (JOHN 15:6), He will teach and help us believers in all things and bring to our remembrance everything Jesus said; He will never leave us (JOHN 14:15-18; 26)-He will abide with you forever and is your guarantee of a wonderful eternal future (2 CORINTHIANS 1:21-22).
One’s gift of life starts the very moment he or she commits to God in repentance and applies the spilled blood of Jesus to their lives.
He said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 NKJV
Regardless of your sinful past, your faults and failures, Jesus wants you to have an abundantly wonderful life today, tomorrow, and forever; it is a free gift.
When someone gives you a gift, you don’t say how much do I owe, but rather you receive it gracefully and say thank you.
Commit your life to Christ today and receive the gift of life; get of the round about of the same old and experience change; joy, contentment, and peace through Christ regardless of the trials and challenges you face. That is God’s peace that surpasses all understanding that will guard your hearts and minds through Christ (PHILIPPIANS 4:7).
In God’s hands like Isaiah we are forever safe, for “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ ””
Isaiah 12:2 NKJV
This is not just Good News, this is amazingly Wonderful Good News.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
