He Will Swallow Up Death Forever
The Lord Will Wipe Away All Tears
ISAIAH 25:6-8
“And in this mountain The LORD of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees. And He will destroy on this mountain The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken.”
Isaiah 25:6-8 NKJV

Here is a wonderful prophecy of "all the people of the earth", the Gentiles and Jews together at God's delicious feast, celebrating the overthrow of evil and the joy of a wonderful life of eternity with God.
This shows that God intended His saving message to go out to everyone in the whole world, not just the Jews, but the Gentiles too; Salvation is available to all who believe.
“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.””
Romans 10:8-13 NKJV
During the feast, God will end death forever. Yes! All those who live by faith in Jesus will participate in this great feast.
That is why they say, "This is our God. We trusted him, and He saved us" (25:9). See chapter 55 for another presentation of this wonderful feast.
Our God always does what He says. It is comforting to know that God's plans are closely tied to His Word. When we pray according to God's will as expressed in the Bible, and claim His promises as recorded, He hears and answers our request.
Part of verse 8 is also quoted in 1 CORINTHIANS 15:54 to describe Christ's victory over death.
God's ultimate victory is seen when our ultimate enemy, death, is defeated (see also HOSEA23:14). REVELATION 21:4 also quotes part of verse 8, which describes the glorious scene of God's presence with His people.
But my beloved, if one is to put his or her trust in someone, he or she must know that person well.
Only through relationship with Christ can one truly believe. Therefore, make time for Jesus, get to know Him personally and take heed of His words; ““And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”
Matthew 6:5-6 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
