PHILIPPIANS 1:15-18
“Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill: The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains; but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel. What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.

We believers all have the same purpose in life-to worship the most High, to do good (PSALM 37:3), and to share the Good News about the Kingdom throughout the whole world, so that all the nations will hear it. It is then, and only then, that the end will come (MATHEW 24:14).
When we have finished our job of sharing the Good News throughout every nation, Jesus will return.
Many will preach and do their good deeds with wrong motives and selfish ambitions; and others out of love. But the truth is, that really doesn't matter. What is important is that our job is completed.
My beloved, God works through the good and the evil, just as He makes the sun rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust (MATHEW 5:45). But what will happen to those with wrong motives?
Jesus tells us, ““Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.”
Matthew 6:1-4 NKJV
My brethren, we must all take a good look at ourselves and ask God to reveal our motives, for we all have a deceitful heart which is desperately wicked; who can know it (JEREMIAH 17:9).
My beloved, do not try to reward yourself, blowing your own trumpet, nor operate out of selfish ambitions with hidden agendas, for the temporary rewards of men is the only reward you will ever get.
But rather do good out of love for God; giving to the needy, encouraging others, and sharing the Good News out of love for God.
Not by leading of one’s flesh, but by the leading of the holy Spirit (see GALATIANS 5:16-26).
My brethren, when you pray, pray in private, again, out of love for God. We are not in a competition, so why is it so important to say the best prayer for everyone to hear, or be the most best or most powerful Christian for everyone to see, or the one who brings the best word?
The truth is, men should not preach, nor women, for it is, if you allow Him, Christ in you that does it. “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Galatians 3:26-29 NKJV
Therefore my beloved, humble yourselves and ask God to purify your hearts, for there’s no need to put on an act, for you can do all things through Christ who is your strength (PHILIPPIANS 4:13), even above all that we ask or imagine.
My brethren , again I tell you, do your good deeds in private and give all the glory to God; it is His. We can do nothing good without Jesus (JOHN 15:5).
Therefore, glorifiy His holy name not yours, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. (MATHEW 6:4).
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
