Our God Is An Awesome God

God’s purposes are pure, He is the creator and sustainer of all things. The point of this chapter is summed up in this verse. He is not vain or conceited, but He is God; He is all powerful, He knows all things, and is ultimately holy, pure perfection.
He planned for what is good, and nothing can stop it (PROVERBS 18:21).
He has no hidden agendas, no ulterior motives, and no selfish ends-He is who He says He is, and He works for the good of all who believe in Him; His purposes are totally pure.
His name is above every other name (HEBREWS 1:4), He has no equal, nor rival, and He shall reign forever (EXODUS 15:28; REVELATION 11:15).
He is awesome in power, “He loves righteousness and justice.
The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.”
Psalms 33:5-6 NKJV
We don’t have to look too far to see God’s visual glory, it is in the sky at night, in a sun set, a mountain range, the ocean, or in a baby’s smile. He is awesome and His handiwork is on full view for all to see. He is God, our redeemer (JOB 19:25), and our provider (MATHEW 6:25-27).
“The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
Psalms 18:2 NKJV.
He is our leader, our teacher, our guide (JOHN 14:15-18), our provider (MATHEW 6:33), and He is our healer (ISAIAH 53:5).
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
