PROVERBS 9:13-18
“A foolish woman is clamorous; She is simple, and knows nothing. For she sits at the door of her house, On a seat by the highest places of the city, To call to those who pass by, Who go straight on their way: “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here”; And as for him who lacks understanding, she says to him, “Stolen water is sweet, And bread eaten in secret is pleasant.” But he does not know that the dead are there, That her guests are in the depths of hell.
”Proverbs 9:13-18 NKJV

V
Satan is out there, he knows your weaknesses, and he will do everything he can to draw you to your death.
He will try to convince you to take what isn't yours.
His temptress will try to convince you that stolen water is refreshing, and the secret food of sin taste the best. She is loud , boisterous, and confusing (clamorous) as she drags her pray into the dark world of sin. But they do not realise like her previous guest, she is sending them into the depths of hell.
She has stolen their lives, and you who fall to her temptation are to join them.
Do you not realise nothing is secret to God?
Satan, after tempting you into sin, will expose you, humiliate you, and destroy you and your relationships; your marriage, your life , and your place with God. Therefore, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
I Peter 5:8 NKJV
But these Scriptures are also talking about the church, the bride of Christ, and the same applies to all who stray from the truth.
There are many ministries operating in the name Jesus, but not all operate within the five fold ministry of Christ. Their buildings are trading centres, promoting the prosperity Jesus, prostituting themselves, as they bow their heads to idols.
It may feel good, but pointless if God isn’t in it.
This is “mans” church, foolishly operating in their own understanding and strength, often influenced by the devil and his false teaches and prophets.
There are many Spirit filled believers in the old church, but the old is being dismantled, for Jesus time is now.
The old wine is depleted, and the new is being poured (JOHN 2:1-11).
Jesus said, “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ””
Luke 5:36-39 NKJV
God has been preparing His elite for such a time as this, they are the new wine skins, specially prepared to receive the new wine, and with it, comes new powers and freedoms, but sadly, many church leaders are hanging on to the old, for they say, “the old is better.”
My beloved, if it’s not the apostolic ministry of Christ, however good it feels, it shall prophet you nothing.
Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 NKJV
Don’t be sucked in by the devil and his evil schemes, but rather submit to Jesus; make Him Lord of your life and accept his free gift of life-and have it more abundantly.
But to have it, one must become an individual member of the body of Christ. “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV
My brethren, “Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways.”
Psalms 119:1-3 NKJV
Do not compromise with the devil, but rather keep away from his evil things-sexual immortality, drunkenness, wild parties and the things of this world; lies and deceit, but instead, follow the instructions of the Lord doing good. “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
Galatians 6:9-10 NKJV
I tell you again and again, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
All glory be to God forever and ever. Amen.
