What Is Man That You Take Thought Of Him. And The Son Of Man That You Care For Him

How Excellent Are Your Ways?

PSALM 8:1-4
“O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?
”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭8:1-4‬ ‭NKJV‬

When we look into the night sky, we see the greatness of God. To respect His Majesty, we must compare ourselves to His greatness.
We are so small and insignificant in comparison, and recognition of this is the only healthy way to stay in reality.
But the truth is, God does not want us dwell on our smallness.
Humility is proper respect for God, not self-depreciation.
So what is it about human beings that God should care for them so much?
It is written, “For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, All sheep and oxen— Even the beasts of the field, The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭8:5-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
From the very beginning, God gave human beings tremendous authority over all the earth. He made us just a little lower than His angels-Indeed He said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.””
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
But with that authority comes great responsibility-to take care of this earth and everything in it-the fish in the see, the birds, of the air, the cattle, and all provision, indeed, over all the earth and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
But the truth is-man kind has messed up. We are destroying it all peace by peace.
Sadly, man has chosen his own way; as a result of his selfish ambitions, he has put his trust in science, money, power, and the things of this world, rather than in God.
Today, we are living in the consequences of our choices. Broken economies, war, greed, poverty, lawlessness, corruption, pollution, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places (MATHEW 24:8).
It is all our own doing; surely it is time to repent and turn from our wicked ways toward God.
We can all blame the devil, for he is the father of lies (JOHN 8:44).
But we humans have free will, we have choice, and we don’t have to live the devils lies simply to justify our lust.
Since Christ paid our debt of sin, surely it is time to turn from it back to Him who loves us.
As we face our painful daily troubles, we ask ourselves, why did God allow this to happen to me? But the truth is, He didn’t! We humans have brought about our own fate.
God gave us dominion, total control over our earth and our lives, and should He intervene without being asked, He would be taking it back-He would be breaking His own word.
That is why prayer is so important; it gives God permission to intervene. It’s not that He can’t , He is God, nothing is impossible for Him; He is supreme over everything, but He would be breaking His own law if He did and He will never do that.
The truth is, if He did, we could never trust Him because He would be seen as corruptible; but He is holy, perfect, and incorruptible, and totally just.
If you give someone a gift and they throw it away, that’s their choice; sadly, that is what many people have done with their lives.
Sin separates us from God, therefore, we lose His protection and the devil legally moves in and the future becomes dark.
My beloved, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.”
‭‭I John‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Furthermore, no one can be saved by works; it’s too late for that. Humanly, it is impossible to be saved. “But Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19‬:‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Here is the Good News-in fact amazingly wonderful Good News, God did not give up on us humans, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
God came in human form to legally destroy the works of the devil and make way for our salvation by taking our punishment on a cross.
My brethren, look around you, our world is failing, it’s all but over. Corruption and lies rule this world and are destroying it peace by peace.
As it is written, Jesus is coming to bring the ultimate judgement; He is the coming judge that will decide your eternal future. But the question is, are you ready?
Many believe God won’t bring His judgement down upon nice people, those who attend church regularly nor lie or steal, and give to the needy and do all kind of good deeds, but sadly, eternal life must be justified legally; and whilst it is true we are saved by grace, it does not override justice. Jesus said, “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Faith, repentance, and forgiveness are conditions of salvation; without, no one can see the kingdom of God. The old man must die to sin and through faith alone, be “born again” into the Gods family (JOHN 3:3).
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
His way is not some selfish condition that He made up to control us or put Himself on a pedestal; He is God, He is above all others; He has no equal nor rival; His name is already above every other name or god or thing; it always was and always will be. It is because He is the only way; we humans have depleted every other way by our sin; Jesus way is a gift painfully paid for by His blood.
Don’t throw it away because of pride or religion, or for any reason; forever is a very long time.
My beloved give your life to Christ today, tomorrow may well be too late.
You cannot know Him without speaking to Him; therefore, go in your room, shut the door and call upon His name; get to know Him and build a relationship with Him; know He is God and that He loves you; He made a way for you; receive it and live it forever in perfect peace.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
