We Demolish Arguments And Every Pretention That Sets Itself Up Against The Knowledge Of God, And We Take Every Captive Every Thought To Make It Obedient To Christ

Jesus Way Is Love

2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-6
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
”‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭10:3-6‬ ‭NKJV‬

Like Paul, we are merely weak humans, but fortunately, we are not alone and we don’t need to rely on human plans strength, or methods to win our battles.
God has given us a range of mighty weapons to use as we fight against the devil’s “strongholds.”
We believers have a choice, our weak human methods of the world, or God’s supernatural methods.
Paul assures and encourages us that God’s mighty weapons, prayer, faith, hope, love, and God’s word, combined with the leading of the Holy Spirit are powerful and effective (see EPHESIANS 6:13-18).
These weapons can break down the proud human arguments that go against God’s plans and purposes; they break the devil’s chains of bondage, and smash down walls that Satan builds to separate us from God.
When dealing with people’s arguments, often fuelled by pride that keep them from a real relationship with Christ, we can be tempted to use our own methods which simply don’t have lasting effect, if any.
The truth is, nothing can break down these barriers like God’s all powerful mighty weapons, of which love is the greatest and the foundation of our faith, our way of life, and all the Laws and the prophets hang on the commandments of love (MATHEW 22:38-40).
Love, combined with all the spiritual gifts is a weapon of mass destruction against the enemy, and is by far the greatest of all gifts.
“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.“
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭1‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, Jesus Christ came to make a way where there was no way; He is faithful and true, and He is mighty to save. ”He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.“
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Furthermore, because of what Christ has done, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.“
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, ”What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.“
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬-‭39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
