The Old Man Is Dead
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

We believers are not only born again into a new family, but we shall become a new creation.
The Holy Spirit gives us a righteous way forward, and God’s Word works from within to bring change, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12 NKJV
Our new life in Christ begins and we become transformed into a brand new people.
The old man has passed away, along with his record of sin, and the new is here, blameless and acceptable to God having Christ righteousness applied to our individual lives.
Furthermore, we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus said, ““If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.”
John 14:15-17 NKJV
The term “new nature” refers to the spiritual transformation that occurs within people when they believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, and commit their lives to Him.
Not rehabilitated, reformed, or renovated. It means completely and distinctly brand new, the old had gone and we are born again into a new family, with new values, new motives, and a whole new way of life, living in vital union with Christ (COLOSSIANS 2:6-7).
While this transformation is true individually, Paul is telling us that not only are believers changed from within, there is far more; that a whole new order of creation began with Christ.
There is a new covenant, a new body (the church), not man’s church of religious order, Jesus church (EPHESIANS 4:11), of which He is the cornerstone (EPHESIANS 2:20-22), and all of creation is being renewed and shall stand on Him.
This is an entirely new order of all creation under the authority of Jesus Christ.
However, the old man can still be present in the new life and expresses himself in sinful deeds. “But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.”
Colossians 3:8-11 NKJV
In other words, the new nature within us, must be cultivated and nurtured by spiritual decisiveness to grow in Christ, that we become more Christ like in our behaviour and responses day by day as the Holy Spirit and God’s Word does a good work from within.
And I am convinced that God who began a good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns (Philippians 1:6).
My beloved, He is the potter and we are the clay (ISAIAH 64:8), and He is moulding His elected from uncut rocks to build His church according to His plans and purposes.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

The time of justice has come upon us, and all will face the consequences of their actions, both good and evil, for the corruption is being exposed and Christ church is being re-established. The old man made bricks of religion, established by the likes of the Pharisees have been torn down. Indeed, over six thousand churches have closed throughout Europe alone in the past few years.
But the new building is being perfectly erected with the uncut stones, individually picked and moulded to perfection, Christ Elite (DEUTERONOMY 27:4-7).
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”
Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJV
The old man’s religious church has all but gone, and Christ church is here. The old has been pulled down and the new is rising.
Jesus said, ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
John 14:12-14 NKJV
That time has come, and the glory of the Lord shall come upon the earth ““And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.”
Joel 2:28-32 NKJV
The outpouring has begun, and with the new wine shall come new powers and freedoms in Christ.
Therefore, brace yourselves, for 2025 shall bring new beginnings, and the first miracle shall become the last, for Jesus saved the best until last (JOHN 2:1-11).
“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.” (Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.) And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”

But know this my beloved, if it’s not Christ church, it shall profit you nothing.
