Be Ready!

LUKE 12:40
“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

Whilst no one knows the exact time, Christ return is imminent; He will come at an hour you do not expect. But the question is, are you ready?
After Jesus spoke these words, Peter said to Him, “Lord, do You speak this parable only to us, or to all people? ” And the Lord said, “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:41-43‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus promise is real; He will bless those who have remained faithful to Him. “But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:45-46‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My brethren, many are far from God, held in bondage to the things of this world including false religions and beliefs.
Jesus said, ““But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:36-42‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
It is not difficult to see that lies, corruption, and all kinds of sin have taken over our world, including drunkenness, fowl language, and
lawlessness. Sexual immorality and homosexuality are now seen as “normal” and acceptable in daily life in most parts of the world.People no longer see those things as sin and are held in bondage to them.
I’m not saying they are bad people, but they need to be set free. “Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Addiction, depression, and all kinds of mental health issues are at an all time high as is suicides; cancers are increasing and now sudden death to all age groups has suddenly become a big problem since the roll out of the jabs.
Our schools are promoting sexual immorality to our children and teaching them that it is ok to change gender. Our world has gone crazy.
Our current monetary systems and businesses are systematically being destroyed, taking us ever closer to cashless society as described in Revelation 13:11-18.
My brethren, are you ready for the imminent return of Jesus Christ. I tell you the truth, it is just around the corner.
There are scoffers who are saying, “where is the promise of His coming (2 PETER 3:4), but the truth is, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
‭‭II Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.
That glorious day of the Lord is fast approaching, but again the question is, are you ready? There’s no room for complacency.
Jesus said, ““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬-‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Of course Jesus knows all people by name, He is the creator of all, but if you don’t make the effort to know Jesus today while you have opportunity, He may well refuse to know you when you need Him.
Make time for Jesus, build on your relationship with Him; study His Word and meditate on it. Join a bible study group and involve in fellowship. Furthermore, make time for personal prayer. Have fear of God, knowing that He is the coming judge who will decide your eternal future.
My beloved, “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.””
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
