PSALM 34:17-19
The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

We all face troubles and often wish we could escape the pain of grief, loss, sorrow, failures, and even those small daily annoyances that wear us down; often the straw that breaks the camels back.
It is so easy to blame God when everything is going wrong, but the truth is, we are at times, our own worst enemy when it comes to our decisions and bring much of our troubles upon ourselves.
But it is encouraging to know that God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them (ROMANS 8:28).
That includes your mistakes and the impossible situation that you are facing today.
Rather than blaming God, or accusing Him, call out to Him for help, for many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
God promises to hear the cry’s of the righteous-His people, even when we brought about the problems ourselves-those with a contrite heart.
He promises to be close to those whose hearts have been broken-He is our comforter (2 CORINTHIANS 1:3).
“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.”
Psalms 46:1 NKJV
David said, “The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him (PSALM 28:7).
Like David, who so often brought about his own troubles through sin, we must turn from our sinful ways toward God, and the Lord will become your strength and your shield; when you put your trust in Him, you shall be helped.
As Paul tells us, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:4-7 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
