NUMBERS 6:22-27
“And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: “The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ “So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”

These verses were an instruction for Aaron and his sons, and is an instruction for each and every believer today, to pray affectively the right words to bring about productive prayer that will be answered according to God’s will.
Today, God is calling out His people to pray for Israel the body of Christ in this unsettled world.
To ask God to bless others is one way to ask God for His Devine favour to rest upon them.
The blessings in these verses give us a degree of understanding of what a blessing is supposed to do.
It’s five parts conveyed hope that God would: 1: bless and protect His people; 2: make His face shine upon them-to express that He is happy and pleased with them; 3: to be gracious-merciful toward them; 4: to lift up His countenance toward them-to show His approval of them; 5: and give them peace; God’s peace that surpasses all understanding, that shall guard their hearts and minds through Christ (PHILIPPIANS 4:7).
When you ask God to bless others, you are asking for these five things and opening doors for people to receive them. Furthermore, they breaks curses and demonstrates the loving caring nature that comes from Christ, and will touch and encourage others while providing an excellent role model to follow.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 NKJV
Jesus way of life is based on love; He said, “”You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.””
Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV
To love is far more than a feeling or emotion, it is a selfless act of care toward others; indeed a duty of care toward all people.
This is Jesus way and all the Law and all the Prophets stand on these two commandments.
God demonstrated His love for all people, by taking yours and my place on a cross to pay our debt of sin, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
John 3:16-17 NKJV
He is the only truth that can be relied upon. Our world is full of lies; the media at best exaggerates the truth and at worst are propagandists that allow our world leaders to hold the people in bondage.
Jesus is the truth that sets you free. “Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.””
John 8:31-32 NKJV
Free from the power of sin and death; free to know all truths, serve God, and receive the gift of life everlasting.
Jesus went on to say, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
John 8:34-36 NKJV
Jesus is the life; it was His life that was sacrificed to pay the debt of sin; it was His life that defeated death and on the third day was risen; and it is through His resurrection life that every believer receives the gift of life when they turn to God in repentance.
Their is no other way, nor person, nor god, nor power or action that can save you. Salvation cannot be bought or earned.
Our new life in Christ is justified only by the blood of Jesus Christ, and whilst we are saved by the grace of God, His grace does not overrule justice. If it did, their would of been no reason for Jesus to die.
He said, “I am the only way to our Father in heaven”. He is God and cannot lie; their really isn’t another way.
“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.””
Romans 10:8-13 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
