The Instructions Of The Lord Are Perfect, Reviving The Soul. The Decrees Of The Lord Are Trustworthy Making Wise The Simple
Restored Peace
PSALM 19:7-11
“The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward.”
Psalms 19:7-11 NKJV

Many feel that the Lord’s rules, instructions, decrees, and commandments keep us from having fun. But here we see the opposite. God’s Law converts the soul, our mind, will, and emotions; reviving us, enabling us to discipline our thoughts and emotions, taking them captive and bringing them to the obedience of Christ (2 CORINTHIANS 10:5), giving us godly wisdom, peace, and joy in the Lord, which is your strength (NEHEMIAH 8:10).
The devil come with lying whispers to stir up our emotions, such as fear, torment, anger, and rage, but when we take those thoughts captive and bring them to the obedience of Christ as instructed (2 CORINTHIANS 10:5), we see those whispers for what they are and peace is restored.
My beloved, we can fully rely on God’s testimony, for it is sure, true, and perfect. His statutes bring happiness and contentment into our hearts, and His commandments are pure, they open “the eyes of your understanding that you are enlightened, indeed, transformed into a new Christ like creation, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (ROMANS 12:1-2).
“Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.”
Ephesians 1:15-23 NKJV
My brethren, “The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”
Psalms 19:9-10 NKJV
I encourage you my beloved, “The LORD will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”
Isaiah 58:11 NKJV
I tell you the truth, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
