My Help Comes from The LORD, The Maker Of Heaven And Earth
We Are Safe In His Mighty Hands
PSALM 121:1-8
“I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.”
Psalms 121:1-8 NKJV

This psalm is a song of hope, that throughout every day and night we remain in God’s care and protection.
God not only created the hills, but made all of heavens and earth, indeed, “By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.”
Psalms 33:6 NKJV
Many, put their trust money and status. But no amount of money can buy peace of mind, nor can it buy an eternal future.
There is but one God, in who we can put our trust, Jesus Christ our King.
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
Ephesians 4:4-6 NKJV
The truth is, we should never trust a lesser power than Jesus Christ, He is God-all powerful, He watches over us morning, noon, and night. Nothing distracts, diverts, or deters Him. We are safe in His hands, and we shall never outgrow our need for Christ’s rule in our lives nor His continuous watch over us.
The LORD is your “shade”, in other words, no one is closer to you than God. He is at your right hand .
Nothing can come between you and God, and not even the sun can strike you by day, nor the moon by night. Those who trust on Him are safe in His mighty hands.
No one loves you like Jesus, He does not sleep nor can He be distracted. He watches over His people by day and by night and sees it all.
He has no equal, nor rival, and His name is above every other name, and He shall reign forever.
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:31-39 NKJV
Again I tell you, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
