ZEPHANIAH 3:14-18
“Sing, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! The LORD has taken away your judgments, He has cast out your enemy. The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst; You shall see disaster no more. In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: “Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak. The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” “I will gather those who sorrow over the appointed assembly, Who are among you, To whom its reproach is a burden.

v
My brethren, the Lord has removed our judgements, and He shall cast out our enemies.
Whether corrupt church leaders, aggressive corrupt governments or world, leaders pushing fear throughout the world, He shall disperse all of Israel’s enemies and pour out His Spirit upon His people.
The world is facing troubling times like never before, wars, frets of wars, world wide unrest, poverty, lawlessness, sexual immorality and all kinds of immoral agendas and schemes designed to destroy the very identity of man kind. Yet it is encouraging to know that our God is in total control.
“Now this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.’”
Acts 2:16-21 NKJV
This day is fast approaching, indeed, it is here, and the truth is, their has never been such a time as this.
Whilst the devil brings pestilence, attacks our financial systems, and brings our world to a stand still. Whilst he is bringing unrest and poverty to the nations, and has closed down our churches and seriously damaged our ability to pray and worship our Almighty God, God is moving-His justice shall be seen all around the world, and many people shall and are turning to God.
This earth is shaking. But the Lord has given us ropes to cling to and hold on firmly in His love and righteousness, but long enough for the corrupt to hang themselves.
“”Therefore wait for Me,” says the LORD, “Until the day I rise up for plunder; My determination is to gather the nations To My assembly of kingdoms, To pour on them My indignation, All My fierce anger; All the earth shall be devoured With the fire of My jealousy. “For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, That they all may call on the name of the LORD, To serve Him with one accord. From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshipers, The daughter of My dispersed ones, Shall bring My offering.”
Zephaniah 3:8-10 NKJV
The “dispersed people” refers to Jews dispersed beyond the rivers of Ethiophia.
No matter how far they have been scattered, they will return to worship, and peace shall be restored in Ethiophia and beyond.
“In that day you shall not be shamed for any of your deeds In which you transgress against Me; For then I will take away from your midst Those who rejoice in your pride, And you shall no longer be haughty In My holy mountain. I will leave in your midst A meek and humble people, And they shall trust in the name of the LORD. The remnant of Israel shall do no unrighteousness And speak no lies, Nor shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; For they shall feed their flocks and lie down, And no one shall make them afraid.””
Zephaniah 3:11-13 NKJV
God is apposed to the proud and arrogant of every generation, but the meek and humble shall be rewarded because of their faith in God.
Self-reliance and arrogance have no place in God’s kingdom.
My brothers and sisters in Christ, hold firm, and pray for our governments and church leadership, for the establishment of Christ five fold ministry (EPHESIANS 4:11), pray for righteousness in every nation, for we are heading into the eye of the storm.
But I encourage you that God is in control. “Behold, at that time I will deal with all who afflict you; I will save the lame, And gather those who were driven out; I will appoint them for praise and fame In every land where they were put to shame. At that time I will bring you back, Even at the time I gather you; For I will give you fame and praise Among all the peoples of the earth, When I return your captives before your eyes,” Says the LORD.”
Zephaniah 3:19-20 NKJV
Zephaniah’s message started as a message of doom, but by the end becomes a message of hope.
The Lord will bless His people-He is to defeat our enemies, restore peace and unity among His people, and many are to turn to God.
Whilst the enemy plan their attacks to drive more fear through the nations, and bring food shortages, fuel shortages, and stir up unrest, God is reviving His church; the old is gone, and the new is here. Jesus time is now. The new wine is being poured out into His specially prepared wine skins, though many church leaders still think the old is better (see JOHN 2:1-11; JEOL 2:24; LUKE 5:36-39).
My beloved, He is reaching out to the people to give everyone a final opportunity of repentance before He takes His people out of this ever darkening world. Rapture is just around the corner.
Jesus said, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
Matthew 24:36-44 NKJV
My brethren be prepared, keep your resources topped up-spiritually and physically, for the earth will shake through the coming days.
But there’s Good News, God already has the victory, and the peace of Christ shall remain upon all who put their trust in Christ Jesus.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
