PHILIPPIANS 4:8-9

The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

What we allow into our minds, will determine what comes out of our mouths in our words, and will affect our behaviours and actions.
Paul tells us to meditate; that is to program our minds with things that are true, noble, and just, things that are pure, lovely, and of good report, and if there is any virtue, things of high moral standards or are praiseworthy, meditate on these things.
Unfortunately, television, books, and the media fills our minds with quite the opposite; sexual immortality, pornography, lies, and proper gander. Indeed the fake news media are much of the false prophets of today, and give the devil opportunity to fill our minds with lies, evil desires, and open doors that gives him entry into our lives.
As a result, sin becomes more and more acceptable and many believers become “demonized” or “demon-possessed” and struggle with inappropriate thoughts and sexual desires, sleepless nights, night mares, fear, anxiety, depression, and even thoughts of suicide.
My brethren, many will tell you that as a believer, you cannot be demon-possessed, because possession is ownership and the Holy Spirit will not allow the devil nor his unclean spirits in. But the truth is, possession is not ownership; if someone is using you car with or without your permission they have possession, but you still own it. They can take it in any direction they please, but when caught, they are removed and the vehicle can be restored to its former condition.
While the Holy Spirit joins with our spirit and is made perfect, sin that comes through the flesh, separates Him from the flesh and the soul, our mind will, and emotions, and allows the demonic to enter the flesh and operate s through the soul, manipulating our thoughts and emotions, which ultimately affects our decisions, behaviours, and responses.
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Jesus said, in the Lord’s Prayer, “And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”

My brethren, who is the “evil one”? The devil; who are “us”? God’s people.
Furthermore “a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.” But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.” But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.””

My beloved, while all believers, both believers and unbelievers can be demonised, deliverance is for God’s people-the house of Israel, the believer, not the dogs, unbelievers, both Jews and Gentiles who believe on Christ.
The woman was persistent and displayed her faith in Christ; “Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.”

For the promise is to one’s children and as many as the Lord may call (ACTS 2:38-39).
My beloved, stop indulging in the things of this world, inappropriate films and content that is pushed on us through the media; replace harmful input with wholesome material, and make time for regular bible study.
Consider the people you hang out with or socialise with. Don’t be drawn into their inappropriate ways or dragged down by their constant negative attitudes.
My beloved, attitudes, whether positive or negative are infectious. Don’t allow people that moan and grown about the same old day after day week after week drag you down with them.
Of course, if someone is depressed or feeling down, comfort them and pray for them. Pray in the Spirit, ask God for discernment and battle the spiritual source and try to free them from the devil’s hold. But they do need to cooperate; without their cooperation they will not be delivered from the source, and will continue going round and round to the same old.
Therefore, don’t allow the same people, day after day, week after week to bring the same old, dumping their troubles and negativity on you. For many it’s attention seeking.
But the truth is, if one wants change, one needs to change something within himself.
If one desires change, he needs to submit to God in repentance and cooperate with God.
If squatters are in a house , one needs a court order to evict them; that means asking a judge to authorise an eviction notice.
To gain the notice, one must tick the boxes to justify the eviction. It’s the same with demon possession, one must tick the boxes and convince the Judge (Jesus) to issue the eviction notice. Without faith, repentance, or forgiveness, their will be no deliverance.
Therefore my brethren, without condemnation, stand back from them who are not cooperating and limit your time with them; continue to love them and pray for them until their attitudes change and God’s timing is right.
My brethren, prevention is better than cure; therefore stay close to God taking in His word daily. It’s not enough to simply read God’s word, for even if we know it well, it will profit us nothing unless we put it all into practice in our everyday lives.
We can’t choose the Scripture we like or attracts us, and then simply ignore the rest. It’s all or nothing; but if you take it in, digest, and cooperate, it will bring the desired change. “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Therefore, take it in, soak in it and allow it to its job that it doesn’t return to the Lord void (ISAIAH 55:11).
However, whilst we can gain knowledge from simply reading God’s Word, understanding and revelation can only come from God. Therefore, ask, and it will be given. Jesus said, ““Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

God not only gives us understanding and revelation, He opens doors of opportunity that no one can shut, and shuts doors of darkness that no one can open (REVELATION 3:7). Truly I tell you you, He makes a way where there was no way.
How easy it is to listen to a powerful sermon and not bother to make the effort to remember what the preacher said. How easy it is to attend a study group, and not bother to take it in. How easy it is to involve in worldly activities simply to please others.
Jesus is the example to follow-He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the only way to our Father in heaven (JOHN 14:6).
His ways work. His ways bring peace; peace that surpasses all understanding and will guard Your hearts and minds through Christ (PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7).
Maybe you are struggling with nightmares, or have difficulty sleeping, or your finances or marriage seem cursed. Maybe you are hearing voices or find yourself indulging in repetitive sin. Maybe you are suffering from depression or are having suicidal thoughts, If so, you may be demon possessed. Therefore go to a church operating in healing and deliverance and get set free.
Kick these parasites out and restore your health, your wealth, and your relationships; particularly your relationship with Christ; He is coming soon to determine your eternal future.
Their is no reason to continue in torment, simply call upon the name of Jesus and you will be saved (ROMANS 10:13; ACTS 2:21).
Make no mistake, sin lets the devil in, and sin is in us before we are born through our descendants; but the Good News is, Jesus is the Judge that ticks the boxes, and puts His weight behind our commands to evict (ROMANS 7:24-25).
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”

Having become free my beloved, stay free. For “”When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.””

Therefore, “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
