JOHN 14:1-4
“”Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
”John 14:1-4 NKJV

These words of Jesus show that the way to eternal life, all be it the only way, is secure, or at least, as secure as your faith in Christ Jesus.
He has prepared the way for you, all you need to do is believe.
Jesus told His disciples, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me (v6).
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus is the way to the Father.
As truth, He is the revelation of God, and as life, He is the source of our very being.
Peter proudly told Jesus that he was ready to die for Him. But actually he failed Jesus, denying Him three times (JOHN 13:37-38).
But however, Jesus, despite Peter’s failures, will not fail Peter or anyone else who believes in Him (1 THESSALONIANS 4:16-17).
Verses 1-3 are rich with promises. Jesus says, “I am going to prepare a place for you,” and “I will come and get you.”
We can look forward to eternal life and all that it is promised to be (see REVELATION 21:3-4), because Jesus has promised it to all who believe.
Although the details of eternity are unclear, we can be confident of how amazingly wonderful life will be, for Jesus Himself is preparing a place for us, and will spend eternity there with us (REVELATION 21:3-4).
This dark world today is testing the faith of God’s people. Never before have we seen so much corruption within our world leadership; never before was there so many rules and conditions placed on our lives.
Just a few years ago, we couldn’t of contemplated how it would come to pass that without the mark of the beast we couldn’t buy food or trade (REVELATION 13:11-18). But today such restrictions are being put in place before our very eyes.
The truth is, in these last days, we believers are going to be tested and persecuted more, and troubles will not stop coming. It will get more and more uncomfortable for us believers here on this earth. “But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
Matthew 24:13-14 NKJV
In the first miracle, Jesus turned water into wine. But when Mary asked Him for this miracle, He said, “it’s not my time yet.” But by His grace, and as a sign for us today, He turned the water into wine. Furthermore,
when the master of the feast tasted the wine, he said, “you kept the best until last (JOHN 2:1-11).”
Jesus time has come; the old has dried up, and as a result mans old church has dried up and thousands have closed down because the old wine is depleted.
But I encourage you, that God through His Prophet Joel, tells us, ”Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, And pity His people. The Lord will answer and say to His people, “Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations. “But I will remove far from you the northern army, And will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, With his face toward the eastern sea And his back toward the western sea; His stench will come up, And his foul odor will rise, Because he has done monstrous things.” Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the Lord has done marvelous things! Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength. Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.“
Joel 2:18-32 NKJV
My beloved, Jesus is pouring out the new wine into new wine skins; His remnant of today.
Jesus said, “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old one; otherwise the new makes a tear, and also the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ”“
Luke 5:36-39 NKJV
Jesus time is now, His Apostolic five fold ministry is growing fast. With it, comes new powers and freedoms, for the best was saved until last.
Jesus said, ”“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.“
John 14:12-14 NKJV
Many church leaders are trying to hold on to the old, having drunk the old, immediately desires new, for he says, “the old is better.”
But God is calling out to His people to let go of the old and embrace the new.
Your fund raising projects and man pleasing prophecies are not working, and your efforts are in vain and shall remain fruitless, for Christ is moving within His church, building and empowering it His way.
He is taking back the reins, for He is the only head.
The old has gone, the new is here, “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.“
Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV
We believers are all apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, and teachers, not just those who call themselves leaders. Jesus operates through the whole body, not just part and all are gifted accordingly (1 CORINTHIANS 12:8-10).
My beloved, if it’s not apostolic it’s not of Jesus and your efforts are in vain
Hand the reins to Jesus and embrace the new, for Christ kept the best until last. And as Jesus said, “”Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.””
John 14:1-4 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
