Let Us Consider How We May Spur One Another Toward Love & Good Deeds

Do Not Forsake The Assembly Of Yourselves

HEBREWS 10:22-25
“let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
”‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭22‬-‭25‬ ‭NKJV‬

We Spirit filled believers, by faith have full assurance that we can come into the presence of God, our hearts washed of evil, and our consciences cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ; “For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified (9:14).”
In Old Testament times, the high priest would come before God once a year on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement to plea mercy and forgiveness over the people.
He would wash himself clean before entering the Most Holy Place (LEVITICUS 16:3-4.
A line would be attached to him that in the event of his death, he could be pulled out of the Holy place, for sin cannot exist in the presence of God.
Therefore, anyone who enters God’s Holy Place with un-dealt sin, he would die.
But because of what Christ has done in His death and resurrection, every Spirit filled believer can now personally come into God’s holy place and stand before Him without any kind of elaborate religious act or system by faith, justified by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Furthermore, our personal access to God, helps us to grow in faith, overcome doubts, and deepens our relationship with God.
Therefore, “let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
It’s very important that we do not forsake the assembly of ourselves, joining in worship together, and supporting one another with prayer, as we face the troubles and tribulations of daily life, lifting and stirring one another up in love.
Assembly is far more than attending church once a week and singing a few worship songs in the hope that it pleases God.
it is coming to the alter together to not only praise, but to receive from Him revelation, knowledge, and understanding. It allows God to bring words of knowledge, messages that lead to deliverance and healings, as we bath in His glory and edify one another with our spiritual gifts.
Assembly brings freedom and positively changes lives as we come together in unity with God.
“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭4‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, assembly is the coming together of God’s people to effectively serve and fellowship and grow together in Christ through the apostolic ministry of Christ.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Often when we are feeling low, we justify not attending church. The devil whispers a lie, “no one cares” or “they don’t understand” or “I don’t fit in,” “I’m too tired,” and ones emotions convince him to stay away.
The devil always whispers negativity into our emotions that we believe his lies.
But truth is, when you are feeling down, you need fellowship even more; you need to be with brothers and sisters who are ready stand with you, and are ready and willing to pray with and for you without judgment, that God can perform His supernatural powers to change circumstance and bring healing and positive change to our daily lives.
As I told you before, “”Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ KKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
