V
Praise is an expression of appreciation of who He is, His abilities and power, and approval, or admiration of what God has done and is doing.
Real praise comes from the heart, it involves our whole being.
It is saying thank You for every aspect of His divine nature and lifting Him up in honour.
He is to be praised for His wonderful works and for who He is.
His name represents who He is, His works represents what He has done and is doing.
When we praise our God, our minds are opened; we help ourselves by expanding our awareness of who He really is.
Furthermore, as we praise God, we lift Him up in honor; we exalt Him, because He is worthy and deserving of all praise; He is the name above every other name, and He is the highest, He is above all other gods. Their is none like Him, He has no equal nor rival and He shall reign forever.
He is our creator God and our sustainer God, He is our hope and our future; He truly is worthy of all praise.
My beloved, do not forsake the assembly of yourselves (HEBREWS 10:25), but rather make time for God at every opportunity.
Furthermore, don’t limit praise and worship to church, but make time to praise Him every day in your home or wherever you are or what you are doing. At home or at work, praise Him and let His glory fall, for there is power in the name of Jesus.
“Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the Lord made the heavens. Honor and majesty are before Him; Strength and gladness are in His place. Give to the Lord, O families of the peoples, Give to the Lord glory and strength. Give to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth. The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; And let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.” Let the sea roar, and all its fullness; Let the field rejoice, and all that is in it. Then the trees of the woods shall rejoice before the Lord, For He is coming to judge the earth. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. And say, “Save us, O God of our salvation; Gather us together, and deliver us from the Gentiles, To give thanks to Your holy name, To triumph in Your praise.” Blessed be the Lord God of Israel From everlasting to everlasting! And all the people said, “Amen!” and praised the Lord.”
I Chronicles 16:24-36 NKJV
Praise and worship is powerful to change life situations, it can bring healing and deliverance as it draw Gods presence, for His presence alone destroys the enemy.
David said,“When my enemies turn back, They shall fall and perish at Your presence. For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging in righteousness. You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked; You have blotted out their name forever and ever. O enemy, destructions are finished forever! And you have destroyed cities; Even their memory has perished. But the Lord shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment. He shall judge the world in righteousness, And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness. The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people. When He avenges blood, He remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the humble. Have mercy on me, O Lord! Consider my trouble from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death, That I may tell of all Your praise In the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will rejoice in Your salvation. The nations have sunk down in the pit which they made; In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught. The Lord is known by the judgment He executes; The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God. For the needy shall not always be forgotten; The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever. Arise, O Lord, Do not let man prevail; Let the nations be judged in Your sight. Put them in fear, O Lord, That the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah”
Psalms 9:3-20 NKJV
My beloved, like David, call out to the Lord, saying,
“I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. When my enemies turn back, They shall fall and perish at Your presence. For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging in righteousness.”
Psalms 9:1-4 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
